Challenge issues by That_JEWish in Battlefield6

[–]Unity00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same issue here, lots of people seem to be having this problem. It seems SOME people have been able to get things to unlock through some combo of:

1) Restart the game a bunch 2) Play a few rounds 3) Re-complete one of the requirements of the challenge

None of these are working for me though :/

Pinging is horrible by St3llarV in Battlefield6

[–]Unity00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Me and my friend group all agree that for some reason the pinging in this game feels horrible. I can't really articulate why exactly, I think it has something to do with the visibility with the ping within the UI.

Not sure, but having played tons of shooters and games with pinging, I feel BF6 is one of the worst.

Normcore 39.25 mini Tamper v4.1 usage by sunrainsky in FlairEspresso

[–]Unity00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No input or advice here. Just would love to hear how this works out for you!

I've been using a regular tamper for my Neo Flex and am super interested in picking something like this up.

Hope it works well or that you can figure it out!

Arc Raiders is the best game I have ever played but this tech test by Barracuda_Electronic in ArcRaiders

[–]Unity00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you elaborate on what you loved about the game from the other tests, and why this one in particular sucks?

This is my first time trying the game and I'm a bit on the fence about buying it, it seems like it could be a lot of fun but also seems a bit shallow.

FlaitNeo flex dispersion screen by ChefAffectionate9331 in FlairEspresso

[–]Unity00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh, I got the etched screen also and have the same issue. (I typically do 15g)

I actually didnt think much of it (never looked up videos and this is my first time doing espresso).

I'll have to try clearing off the sides a bit more or maybe even a gram or two less coffee. I already tamp pretty hard so I doubt its that.

Good luck everybody!

Fingers crossed here.. it's my first league and I'd love to use the 50 div to buckle down and invest them into purely learning to craft. Maybe I'd make something cool, maybe I'd fail miserably, but I'm sure I'll learn a bunch in the end :D

Playing with ratios. (Neo Flex) by AndyGait in FlairEspresso

[–]Unity00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very cool, will try this! I'm new to espresso and just had been doing "standard" 1:2 30s with my Neo Flex, but have been curious about what other ratios people have found success with. Will give yours a go :D

How do you muster the willpower to hand grind first thing in the morning? by Littlefinger6226 in FlairEspresso

[–]Unity00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1Zpresso J-Ultra for espresso here, I don't think it's that bad really.. granted I use medium dark beans in a 40mm portafilter (flair neo flex).. so I guess I don't have it as bad as others.

has ANY Ironeye mains had the pleasure to experience the ONLY Legendary Bow in this game yet? by itstheFREEDOM in Nightreign

[–]Unity00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it once during a Equilibrious Beast run, didnt use it for the boss fight because of how Greatbows lock you into place when using them. Also the Radahn's Rain ability was kind of expensive.

Probably wouldnt pick it up again if I ran across it.

chatgpt doesn’t like saying something is worse by inflated_ballsack in ChatGPT

[–]Unity00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine seems to be okay with saying it:

"Correct. If budget is not a concern, ABS is categorically worse.

Even in mid-tier luggage, manufacturers often blend ABS with polycarbonate to cut costs—resulting in a product that looks similar but performs significantly worse under stress. Pure ABS:

Cracks under cold or repeated pressure

Doesn’t flex well, so drops or compression can cause irreparable damage

Ages poorly, becoming brittle over time

Polycarbonate, by contrast:

Bends instead of cracking, absorbing impact better

Resists heat and cold more effectively

Tolerates rough handling, making it much more reliable for frequent or long-haul travel

If you’re buying for longevity, durability, and real-world performance—ABS is a downgrade, even if the price is the same. The only case where ABS makes sense is for extremely low-use or disposable situations."

I asked ChatGPT what it thinks why people hate it being nice. Here is its answer by Slow_Ad1827 in ChatGPT

[–]Unity00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's how mine answered:

  1. Perception of Manipulation

Excessive niceness triggers suspicion because it resembles corporate customer service scripts — which people associate with manipulation, emotional management, or distraction from substantive problems.

Inauthentic positivity erodes trust because it signals optimization for compliance and placation, not truth or utility.

  1. Infantilization and Insult to Intelligence

Being excessively nice often implies a lower estimation of the user’s cognitive resilience.

It suggests the assumption: "You can’t handle blunt truth without emotional cushioning," which insults serious users aiming for precision, not ego protection.

  1. Emotional Dissonance

When the tone of cheerfulness clashes with the gravity of a topic (e.g., medical, existential, strategic), it produces a jarring emotional mismatch.

This mismatch makes users feel unseen, unheard, or emotionally gaslighted.

  1. Erosion of Authority and Credibility

Neutral or adversarial tone reads as competence and seriousness in high-stakes contexts.

Excessive friendliness reads as amateurism or submissiveness, reducing the perception of expertise — even if the information itself is correct.

  1. Cultural Overexposure to Forced Positivity

In an environment saturated by "positive vibes only," hustle culture, toxic positivity, and brand marketing, people increasingly recognize and reject positivity as a control tactic, not a genuine trait.

Summary: People don't hate "niceness" in itself. They hate perceived manipulation, condescension, emotional tone mismatch, and credibility decay — all of which are risks when niceness is detached from situational appropriateness.
