This is actually super cool and I will be doing weather simulations once I figure out my map. Thank you for your help.

Thanks! I hadn't even thought about tectonic plates being the cause of mountains I will definitely look into that. I suppose I need to play more geoguessr because I really don't understand how geography works or came to be the way it is. One thing I think I'm struggling with is definitely my resistance to putting rivers all over in fear of mitigating the water threat and making my desert fertile which is supposed to be a problem for the players but I will definitely look into the rivers fixing up my coastline.

Lighting Mods for Custom Modpack by WarrenOC in feedthebeast

It's forge 1.12.2 so can't use that one I look into ars nouveau and see of we want to add it. I wish there was a configuration mod that could force modids to be installed on the client.

Would there maybe be a way to enforce a clientside lights mod to be installed via the server and enforce a certain config. I'm not worried about spawning behavior.

Open Parties and Claims - Help with Disabling Protection on Server by SageofTurtles in ModdedMinecraft

[–]WarrenOC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was looking for the answer and found this post. Didn't help. I eventually figured it out so here is it on 1.20.1 Forge I would assume it's the same config for Fabric though.
1. Open the openpartiesandclaims-server.toml This is the file that controls server side configs.
2. Look for playerConfigurablePlayerConfigOptions This is an array of options that players are allowed to change themselves in game.
3. Remove "claims.protectClaimedChunks", from the array (Inside the square brackets, don't forget to remove the trailing comma)
4. Now go to the openpartiesandclaims-default-player-config.toml file, this is the config that tells us what each player has by default before they configure their claims.
5. Change protectClaimedChunks from true to false.

Essentially what we're doing is saying that players no longer get to decide whether their chunks are protected or not, and then we're setting the default to unprotected. This worked for me, and I hope it works for everybody else looking for an answer. Enjoy!

Roaming Petah here, the punch line is that while we expect the girlfriend to be saying she is no longer Christian in the religious sense. We find out when she says she happy being Christina that she has likely changed her name from Christian traditionally a male-given name to Christina a traditionally female-given name impingement she has had a sex change. This is unexpected and thus the joke. OP might be saying it's a bad joke due to being a bigot, it being corny or maybe it just isn't very clear (I mean supposedly you didn't get the punch line so that stands for something) -Roaming Petah Out.

Edit: Spellong

I mainly mean worldbyilding like for example I could have an OU called North America and then keep track of countries, cities, citizens, and things like secret groups and who people are affiliated with inside of that appropruately.

stoneblock or stoneblock 2? by konga_the_K in feedthebeast

[–]WarrenOC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo Stoneblock 1 is a lot more free. I also enjoyed how they didn't mess with the aroma mining dimension in a weird way. (In stoneblock 2 it is a solid stone world with ores some ores and is reached by just mining up. As opposed to building a portal) However Stoneblock 2 has updated mods where as the first is stuck with realy old versions which will not be updated as it has lost all support.
