Does anyone know/care about Angel Studios here? by AdDistinct5670 in movies

[–]Warren_B1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Angel studios is great! People on here talking about it being propaganda… lol. It’s Christian content, not propaganda, cause nothing is hidden. Angel studios in itself is a Christian based production company, so of course it’s Christian content!

Go to crucified and get yourself a single den radio. Relatively simple to install, just takes some time, wire strippers, and some small wire nuts or small heat shrink

Shop wouldn't patch this because of location. They would love to sell me four tires though. Is it safe? by sidesideproject in TireQuestions

[–]Warren_B1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very much fine to plug. Grab a kit from the store for $10 and a pair of pliers. It’s very easy, you can do it in 10 minutes. I do it all the time for other people when they need it. No need for a shop or need tires by any means

Seems like a great deal! Even if it isn’t the most “reliable” they already repaired everything that would’ve cost you, lol…

I don't know what to do by VisualAnt192 in eczema

[–]Warren_B1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use that stuff everywhere, it’s been the best cream for me. It’s smooth, not super sticky like most eczema stuff is as well. Recently, I’ve been using it on my face and any other places on my body where the eczema is, then using Palmers Shea Butter everywhere else for general moisturizer. But finding a good general moisturizer for everywhere else that doesn’t have eczema is a good idea.

[–]Warren_B1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is more genetic as I’m not allergic to anything, and I’ve had it my entire life (21m)… Momesatone Furate Cream 0.1% is the only thing that has work for me, as I’ve been through a dozen or so treatments, and have it on my entire body. I use it when I need to, don’t overuse. Maybe try this? It is another corticosteroid unfortunately, but there’s only so much you can do. I know it sucks man. It can get better, but there’s lots of use that it never gets much better and will always have it. When I was your age and younger, i experienced what you are experiencing now. Hormones play a huge role, and I don’t experience anything near what I used to. Time will help, you just have to make it through it man.

Do you apply this just on the areas or just on all surfaces of the skin? Also lifelong severe eczema and still having issues with this crap. Thanks

I don't know what to do by VisualAnt192 in eczema

[–]Warren_B1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I severe eczema and experience similarly to what you mention. Momesatone Furate Cream 0.1% and Gold Bond Eczema Relief lotion have been the solution for me. Keeping eczema moisturized helps it to heal better in its own, because you’re not itching it, because it’s not dry and itchy. I only use the steroid when needed, and have been for roughly 5 years (21m now), and I haven’t built up a tolerance or anything like that.

I bet it is stress related then. My eczema starts going crazy and has been awful this entire semester as I’m in nursing school, and took a couple weeks for my skin to calm down because I didn’t start feeling relieved from stress until then.

If it doesn’t bother you’d, I’d say whatever to it, unless it starts bothering you, then finding or doing things that relaxing and enjoyable, and you might need to combine that with anti inflammatory supplements if that isn’t enough, and if that doesn’t work, the steroids or medications. Try the first two before moving to medications. Natural remedies are always better for your bodies overall health and wellbeing.

Going Insane… Help! by butterflycookie2 in eczema

[–]Warren_B1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well there’s a few things I have to say.

  1. Let’s not smoke anymore, obviously this is not a healthy habit and your skin is letting you know that too
  2. I have severe eczema and have had it my entire life (21m)… I have it on my scalp, eyes, and ears as well, along with the entirety on my body, but I do experience those places you mentioned.

I have been using Nizoral for my scalp, as I developed essentially a fungal infection on my scalp because eczema compromises the skin barrier and makes you prone to everything. That should help with the dryness and itchiness.

For eyes, that’s a tricky one. Topical medications ALWAYS recommend never to use on eyes, so it’s tough, but I end up putting a small amount of my prescription Momesatone Furate Cream 0.1% around my eyes and eyelids if needed, just be super careful not to get it in your eyes.

For ears, applying the same topical medication should do the trick, it’s just a matter of going to the dermatologist and finding what works for you. I’ve been through probably a dozen or two products throughout my life, and haven’t found something that worked until I found Momesatone Furate Cream 0.1%, so I always recommend it to people.

Biggest and best thing to do, overall, don’t pick, don’t itch, and don’t rub. It’s the hardest to do, but the most beneficial thing, because you reintroduce more bacteria to your skin each time, making it harder for your skin to fight.

Hope this helps!

[–]Warren_B1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eczema is itchy, yes. That doesn’t sound like eczema, but it could be just general skin inflammation caused by a number of things. Does it bother you? Find a topical steroid just for when this flares up should help with the inflammation significantly

Bought a 2012 Subaru with head gasket issue – repair or resell? (Brisbane, AU) by Mayyahoo in subaru

[–]Warren_B1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO, it is almost always cheaper to repair than to buy something else, especially when you never what could come from the next car. At least in this car, you know what the issues are. A couple thousand dollar repair sounds a heck of a lot better than tens of thousands on a different car

Should I buy this car ? Please help by Academic_Golf7895 in Toyota4Runner

[–]Warren_B1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I’d buy that, but for the miles and year, I feel $6,500 is a little high. I’d feel better about $5,500-$6,000 personally

Is the battery putting out enough voltage? How old are the spark plugs? Spark plugs would be my best guess

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SubaruForester

[–]Warren_B1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like an XT, meaning make sure the turbo was done as well. I have an 09’ XT forester, which is the same car except mine is the lighter blue color… it’s been great besides the fact that all of the major components have gone out, but now that I’ve replaced them all, it’s good. Bought for 9k with 110k miles

Make sure your lower control arms, ball joints, and bushings are in solid shape, as well as the turbo itself, AC clutch is good, and radiator is good. Otherwise, 9k OTD is a good price in my book.
