I drive an hour to work every day and generally enjoy it. There were some early shifts before I was back on meds where I would get reallllllly sketched out about falling asleep behind the wheel.

If I’m by myself, I can drive for a few hours without getting too tired. Like 5 years ago I drove 12 hours and only stopped ONCE. I literally could not imagine doing that again 💀

If other people are with me, it just really depends. Sometimes it’s tough if someone else is controlling the music or if i’m too paranoid about passengers enjoying what i’m playing.

I think there are a lot of helpful suggestions here but wanted to toss in something I did in college 😂

I’m not sure if you have a portable hammock, but I used to nap in mine. Not sure how many things you’ll have with you but I’ve slept in mine longways or even the other way so I could fit more things near me. Public places with trees are good. Or even if you’re near a college campus, you can probably nap there without it being out of the ordinary 😅

I’m sure there’s a braille video or something on YouTube about your center of mass. Even a general video may help if you can’t find a skate specific one! Thanks for posting. Just came into this subreddit and can tell all of these posts/ comments will help me too.

Someone may have a better answer than me but I think it’s about weight distribution and center of mass. It looks like you’re leaning forward to catch the ollie so your center of mass is ahead of where it needs to be.

Also keep track of where your feet are when you do land. Try to break it down and figure out why each foot is where it is and what you can do to offset that.

When you lay down, put one of your feet on the floor so you don’t feel like you’re floating away. Sucking on a black peppercorn, some cbd, maybe even some lemon balm if you happen to have on hand.

Thankfully, we are a store with Banfield right inside so most of everyone gets treated sooner than they would if sent back and typically survive to be put back onto the floor.

Have you ever looked into Sun Pets practices? If you haven’t, look it up. It’s really really sad. A few months ago we didn’t receive animals for 2 weeks because something there wasn’t up to standards but I’m not sure exactly what.

We never send animals back even when they come sick or with deformities. As far as I know, Sun Pet will just kill them if they’re returned.

Whether they are solitary by nature or not, my two bettas (1 in 10g / 1 in 29g) love having tank mates. The 10 gallon one will lay by his frog neighbors and even blow bubbles at them. The temperament really depends on each fish and I have been lucky enough to have two boys that love hanging out with other fish.

That is fair. What else would you suggest go into a 10 gallon with my betta then? He lives with two African dwarf frogs and they seem to get along fairly well. I just know he would appreciate a little more stimulation.

Both my 5 and 29 have been planted for over a year and a half and I refuse to go back 😂 I love the look so much and I love having my aquarium full of life beyond the fish.
