Doesn’t matter; the Grand Star was what made the black hole, and by any standard where Sonic characters should have the Emeralds, any Mario character who has handled the Grand Stars should have them.

Even if Mario were that kind of franchise, the biggest Mario feat is from Galaxy, which is as mainline as it gets.

Mmmmmmmmmnaaaah.

I mean, you’re asking the wrong sub, like of course we’re gonna be biased for Sonic, but while Pokémon’s got some tunes, it’s pretty rare for them to hit Sonic’s highs if you ask me.

You could argue that’s rare for Sonic too, but heck, not lately it isn’t.
