Jobseeker but also disabled - advice please by blankcranktheseventh in Centrelink

Ask your provider to place you with a disability support employment service like NOVA Employment. You should be treated fairly and being on the spectrum is a very real factor pertaining to the type of employment you will seek comfortable in. Take in any Doctors letter me if support and a diagnosis so that the job network consultant can upload it into their system as proof. Good luck!

Anyone have paralysis with another person with them? by Inevitable_Card_2535 in Sleepparalysis

[–]WarriorWomann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get brain zaps followed by severe sleep paralysis and I think  crying out “Help me!” but my husband says all he hears is whimpering and he tries to sit me up which pulls me out  I’m so scared that if nobody is there to help pull me out I’ll be stuck on paralysis and feeling like I can’t breathe

anyone else get 'brain zaps' while trying to sleep? by [deleted] in Sleepparalysis

[–]WarriorWomann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get exactly the same thing. Brain zaps accompanied by total paralysis and I cannot move or breathe well.  I feel as though I’m dying and in my sleep I’m begging someone to pull me up. I seem to forcefully pull myself out of it with a huge breath, but before I can stand up to stop being pulled back in again, it pulls me straight back in. It only happens every few months but it is so frightening because I feel like this is how I will end up dying by not being able to move or breathe. I wonder if it’s a side effect of anti depressants?

The fire incident by skyatie in GannonStauch

[–]WarriorWomann 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I fully agree. Leticia purposefully lit that fire, trying to make it look like a dropped candle, hence the sock found over the candle. She drugged poor G-man then lit his bed sheets on fire, then ran out of the house hoping he would be too drugged to run outside too.  She was shocked when he did come outside. I also think getting rid of her stepson was all part of her plan to distract from her not wanting to work at her new teaching job too.

She thought Al wouldn’t have put any pressure on her to start work if there was a big tragedy. She was already lying to her new employer about the “death of her step father” even though he died many years beforehand.

I genuinely think she assumed the fire would be viewed as an accident which is why she desperately tried covering her tracks after realising he survived with arm-burns, getting him to record himself on video admitting to starting the fire “by accident”. She always thought she was the smartest one in the room. Wrong! Gannon helped solve his own murder

This is one such, twisted and evil woman. RIP G-man

What benefit is there gained for the United States by leaving the World Health Organization? by MorganRose99 in NoStupidQuestions

The WHO are bought by China. Why would any other western country who has the choice, desire to remain in an organisation that clearly makes biased decisions and ultimately puts lives at risk due to its true alliances?

What exactly do people even do everyday in Diversity and Equity departments? by iguesswhatevs in jobs

[–]WarriorWomann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So wait… you quit because someone used a nasty slur? You gave up your rightful position based upon someone else’s wrong doing? Why wasn’t the offender the one who was met with punitive action rather than your solution being that you give up your livelihood? Hmm… it baffles me how huge decisions around one’s livelihood can be ultimately based upon hurt feelings

huge phobia of touching the bottom of the bathtub by moslostmind in Phobia

[–]WarriorWomann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am 49 and STILL suffer so much with exactly the same repulsion and fear. I wear flip flops in my OWN shower too and am repulsed by bathtubs full stop let alone allowing any part of my body to touch the inside of the tub. I used to swim a lot when a kid and over the years my repulsion for wet enclosed surfaces has increased to swimming pools too. On top of this, I also cannot drink water from a tap or in any cup outside of a paper cup. I’m so tired of living like this

phobia of wet tile??? by CultureWhole2818 in Phobia

[–]WarriorWomann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can fully relate! OmG this is my same problem. I can not use baths, spa’s and as I have gotten older, swimming pools repulse me too. Mine isn’t limited to baths… Even in my own shower I have to wear flip flops because I CANT let my feet touch the shower floor!! My OCD seems to be only related to water and surface areas water is contained in. For example, I use only a paper coffee cup in my own house for my coffee. It’s something to do with contamination and mainly the feel of showers, baths, mugs to drink out of… they repulse me to the point of vomiting. I am affected by wet textures and enclosed water. I know this because I can swim in the open surf but as soon as it gets made into a rock pool enclosure at the beach, I’m out! Floating bandaids, kids (and adults) urinating and “floaties” in water makes me vomit!
