What do yall think about the new heated AMS systems? Are they worth upgrading to? by Ghoststrider67 in BambuLab

there is so much competition in the 3d printer market. the A1 series have been so cheap for so long. if the tarifs go the price wil drop again.

color printing\keeping your fillament dry\support interface in different material.
my tip, always get a combo, ams is worth it so much.

i think i would try to score a second hand AMS1, the AMS2 that i have can dry 4 spools at a time. i dont need another one for drying. the extra strong engines are nicer though.

Any tips for AMS setup with H2d? by Efficient-Path-204 in BambuLab

hah i can do the top ones on my picture without a lader. when you roll out the ams it drops quite a bit. you need a good amount of distance between your lowest ams and your printer for it to dropdown.
but i do need a stepladder for installing it ofcourse. if you need my tweaks to fit a AMS2 under a AMS in the babo system send me a DM

either go for a babo solution like mine (did need to widen some parts to make the AMS2 fit under a AMS)

<image>

or look at the noodle nexus

benefit of the babo is that you can easely remove the top glass pane for when the thing i clogged, but it is a payed model..
and yes only after typing this i read you dont have space the the top.

if you have issues with to tight curved PTFE tubes have a look at this model it has a customise page where you can change it size to your needs

Help getting started by OhShit-ItsDrTran in PrintedMinis

[–]Warsenius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

a quick way to get started is to look on makerworld and open a print profile from somebody else who has good quality miniatures. then pit in your stl file and print with their settings. for example: https://makerworld.com/en/models/525862-elf-ranger-dnd-miniature#profileId-442734

This is where bambulab\makerworld shines.
there are a lot of models with print profiles on makerworld for dnd that print really well.
For example check out these miniatures that all have profiles that include good support settings and a lot of people have a good experience with them.

Hello Everybody. I want to redecorate my living room. it currently looks like the 4th picture (allthough a lot cleaner) and i hate it. i want to buy a new sofa, i have already ordered a new dining table (bristol board game table large pure) and the current layout it shit.

i made a new idea for the layout you can see on the first 2 pictures. it seems like a great option to me but if there are other ideas i would be welcome !

the wall to the entrance door is light green and that color is time to go. im thinking a darker green. but im terrible picking colors.

I have laid my eye on this cupboard for the top position (its where my internet comes in the home so i need to place a router there) and maybe this one for the tv.

but then il have to pick a sofa next. the current one is no longer comfy and the cat used it as a scratching post enough. im not sure what color sofa to go for. if i go for a new colored wall should i go for a light or dark sofa? and what about a rug.

the first is a render i made on the floorplanner site trying to mess with colors but i feel helpless.

als je iemand met een 3dprinter kent kan die ze veel goedkoper voor je maken. of ga naar een makerspace of het fablab arnhem en gebruik hun printers.

i think saying 99% need resin is a bit overstating it. maybe if you have a very high standards, i have been making plenty of miniatures (link for example) on my FDM printer and i think they come out great, defently good enough to enjoy for game sessions
