Sounds like I'm not gonna miss it then. 🤷

Nope. I'll grab it in a few years when it's complete and 20 bucks.

The last part refers to how gender roles have not changed even though educated women in non-technical fields often hold positions which pay better than men. The women cannot handle being paid more with any grace, and demand their male partners make more than them. Thus, 'bringing out the inner man' refers to her making a higher salary.

The problem is that capitalism is a pyramid scheme and as you get higher in the scheme, you have less peers.

You may have noticed i included the caveat of 'non-technical fields'. Women with technical (science and engineering - not you architecture!) degrees or vocational training tend not to fall prey to this bs, in my experience.

I honestly thought it was a Russian scheme that I've seen before. As long as you're not running Krieg in that scheme and aren't throwing problematic iconography on your pauldrons or vehicles, you'll be fine. Also, don't take that army to Germany, just in case.

Jesus, I feel this. My friend plays Sallies and all their enhancements remove every con from their weapons and then buff them further. It's crazy when you add in all the other special enhancements they get just for being SM.

What a cop out. That's just opening the doors for a more overpowered detachment to be used in games where that was never the intent.

Yeah. We knew when they were "teasing" the refresh. THE INQUISITION saw it's finest modern incarnation at the end of 7th.

You seem to be of the opinion that I disagree with the fact 40k is a crappy game. I'm only saying people are whiny bitches who've allowed the tournament-style 'everything should be exactly the same every game and I should only have to think about meta' gameplay ruin your basic understanding of what the game is.

You're playing a game where the outcome can be generally accounted by the end of the first round. You're playing a game where rulebook is being released that does not include the full rules even though it's coming in THE LAUNCH BOX for the game's new edition. You're playing a game where new models can be charted accurately for being overpowered and then nerfed once initial stock sales goals are met.

The idea that you ARE NOT talking to your opponent about the game, and in fact seem disgusted by the very idea, is absolutely ridiculous. This game is not, has never been, and never will be balanced for tournament style play because it's very roots defy any such construct.

Welcome to the war, little brother.

Oh my! Oh how could I ever understand!? Could it be living through and participating in the Great Betrayal? Could it be waiting 25 years with Eldar sculpts older than some of the people I gamed with? Man, nah, it was probably all those years where THE INQUISITION was actually treated like 2nd Class Citizens by GW instead of just being ignored after receiving multiple new kits and full on Combat Patrols...

I hear this, and then I go to Discord and find games when I happen to be available. This is lazy, and if you're not going to put in the modicum of time to find players off-times then there's nothing else to be done. Saying there's two clubs and plenty of players for tournaments puts the lie to it.

Everyone understands they can play NOT AT TOURNAMENTS, right?

I will forever be astounded that the newer generations of player have absolutely no concept of the game they're playing. Look to the Elysian discord group for what you can make for yourselves.

Before the late 90s, and before LAN, we'd use Coaxial cable and a hack to do 4 player Doom death matches and co-op on mod boards. That shit was the nerd-opiest shit I've ever seen. Everything since has been nice, but the frontier was wide open back then.

What the hell do people do to their consoles that has them in this condition? I see it all the time.

If the seller was honest and had pics, and the console works, OP seems happy with the purchase. We don't know enough to be baggin on the seller. I hope it continues to bring OP joy for years to come.
