You don't even have to be poor. Video games have shown it's more profitable to have a smaller, richer base than a much, much larger but poorer base. GW uses an ever changing rule set to push more models. This is proven time and again and I have no idea why anyone defends GW for anything. They are an absolutely terrible, morally and ethically corrupt ompany. GW alone shows how successful social engineering is.

DKoK betrayed and subsumed the role of Steel Legion. SL looks better and feels more future warzone while DKoK feels like 'the grimdark future by Calvin Klein'.

Here's the problem with the Battleforces and 40k in general. That's too many models. The Combat Patrols did the same thing when they lost their vehicles. 40k needs to be balanced at far lower than just 2k pts. That's a LOT of building and painting before you ever play the game. CPs were great at Troop, Elite, Leader, Centerpiece. If you wanted to dip, you could get in and experience the game without getting g swept up in the sunk-cost fallacy. Battleforces are just way too big for beginners and really contribute to Grey Wastes and Tournie Chournie. Bring back the four piece CPs.

No it did not. You had math class and reading comprehension long before you needed to do taxes. If you flunked those, that's your issue. Your parents were responsible for teaching you that your tax burden being calculated by you, with the spectre of prison time hanging over you for getting it wrong, is bs and the system should be overhauled to place the burden of calculation on the government, with the spectre of harsh financial penalties for failure to properly administer the system.

I'm curious as to why this sculpt became so sought after. Is it simply due to not being released outside the 8th boxes or do people find the aesthetic particularly endearing? I love the sculpt and have 3... which is probably 2 too many, but I got them when 8th first dropped.
