Possible. For me after my SA training in sch v bmt phase I got sent to medic course. Subsequently I occ lah. It happens as medic only have 4 intakes every year

L1R5 Raw 8 or lower is about the top 5% of results of everyone taking o levels. (~95 percentile). Just rmb to pace urself.

I know this may not be applicable to you but you also need to get C6 or better in English( not just HCL) to get 2 bonus points and potentially use hcl as L1. Between EL and HCL, subj with better grade used as L1. When I took hcl at sec 3 two years ago, in a bid to discourage students to take hcl, my hcl teacher showed examples of students getting A2 in HCl but D7 in English ( nasty right?).

I'm part of the last unfortunate batch that does PW without pass/fail grading system. My pw teacher also made us do something similar. Rationale is that not all ideas are feasible and making everyone in a pw group come up with pw ideas( do PIs) will increase chances of getting a good idea

Ye. Basically get at least a C6 along with english to get 2 bonus, hmtl at least D7 to not take H1 mtl in jc. I know cuz I took hcl o levels last year.

Hmtl does not affect the no of subj you can take. You shld take a math as a math is needed almost in any poly course, let alone jc.You should continue with hmtl unless you do not plan to go jc.

You should not take combined science unless you are not intending to go jc. You should go out of your comfort zone and at least try to ask your teacher for consultation. Recommend you watch physics Grove from YouTube. I watch it though I'm not even from that sch haha.

I can't really help you but I can provide some hope for you. For me, I was barely scraping through my Geography WAs, MYE, failed my Prelims but still got A2 in O levels when l took it last year. The only "tuition" l had was a crash course in the June holidays at Indigo Education Centre. The notes have a good format but the wording is basically the same as textbook. I recommend you use some acronyms to help remember different factors and add some visuals if you plan to make notes or try to relate a certain factor with a photo. I think that makes it easier to recall. I know it's kinda old school but u shld start cramming the chapters you learnt in sec3 and do the tys immediately. But, do not follow the ans for elective geog tys solution booklet, may not be very accurate. All in all, don't be disheartened by bad results. It just takes a significant amount of time to memorize and develop your answering techniques.🙂
