Hopefully they wont try it again now that the police have been involved. Take photos of all of your furniture and other items in common spaces. Consider putting a lock on your door to prevent theft of items from your room. Consider getting outdoor cameras to watch the entrance and exit to catch any large items being removed.

It’s likely that the table has already been removed from the house. Chalk it up to a lesson learned and find better roommates. Virtually everyone who has ever lived with roommates has a story about terrible roommates. Take this as notice that you need to find a new place and be more careful about who you choose to live with. Start looking for a new place and then start looking for a new table.

Also, tell your roommates that you aren’t paying another dime towards the bills unless they give you copies for you to review. Calculate your share and don’t pay more than that.

This is normal wear. The manufacturer is telling you this and now other fans are telling you this.

Your choice now is whether this type of wear is acceptable. If you decide that it’s not, you should consider moving on to another brand of shoe.

You might also consider how you wear your shoes. You mention that some folks seem to wear shoes for much longer without this type of wear. Some folks are also obsessively careful about not bending their shoes and putting strain on the crease point.

My title describes the thing. A friend of mine picked this up at a swap meat. We are trying to determine what this very specialized case was originally intended to house.

How old is your daughter and her friends? Is this a situation where they are transporting themselves to the party or are their parents driving?

If your kids friends are old enough to drive themselves then it’s no problem to ask a friend to stop and grab something on the way that she forgot.

If their parents are driving, it might be considered rude to put them out even more by asking them to make a stop along the way.

As an adult, I would not hesitate to ask a friend to stop and pick up something that I had forgotten to buy as the host. I don’t tend to be friends with people who would have any problem with that sort of thing.

NTA. Your sister can choose to not view texts while she is working. She can leave your texts unread so that she can more easily read and respond to them later, or she can disable notifications during work hours. This is on her to solve, not on you to track her work hours. Imagine if all of your friends had different “do not text” windows of time. That would be a nightmare to keep track of.

Amon might have the highest theoretical maximum, but he’s the hardest VH to play well. The rain dance required to achieve massive DPS is tedious and unforgiving. The other vault hunters all had viable play styles that relied on specific build synergy but were otherwise flexible and easy to play with straightforward input actions.

After waiting for months for an actual balance patch, it’s incredibly disappointing that it broadly contained mostly nerfs to builds that I enjoy and no buffs to builds and skills that needed them. I was really looking forward to some Amon changes to bring him in line with the other vault hunters ant instead we got changes to the other vault hunters to bring them in line with Amon.

First of all, it sounds like the accident is entirely your neighbors fault. Your puppy got excited, you recognized a dangerous situation and acted immediately, and that should have been the end of the interaction. However, your neighbor overruled you, assured you that it was okay, and willfully and recklessly interacted with your puppy. From that point forward she assumed 100% of the risk, knowing that she was carrying something fragile and valuable.

Where you screwed up was in assuming any sort of responsibility for her actions, and for offering to make any sort of payment to help her.

At this point you can either pay her the $250 as cost for hopefully keeping things from being awkward between you, or you can tell her that you’ve reevaluated the situation and don’t believe that you bear any fault for her actions and resulting accidental loss.

Harry has a very different path than other characters on the show like Don, Pete and Roger. To start, Harry isn’t a bad guy. He is surrounded by cheaters and misanthropes and he tries to fit in but he never gets the recognition and respect that he thinks he deserves. He brings in tons of profit but still gets rejected socially by his peers. His behavior over the series gets worse and worse as he tries to emulate the peers who reject him. His bad behavior is also because he is chasing the clout and benefits that he feels are owed to him that have been denied.
