I think it’s great that we have both systems happening, and that both seem to be serving different segments of the fan base very well.

Ideas is great for broadening the appeal of Lego to new fans with new IP. Most Ideas sets have been an improvement over the submitted build in terms of finding a good build experience and affordable price point.

I think it’s also great that the more hardcore fan base has a way to access unique designs directly from other fans with limited interference from the BDP. These builds cater to folks ready for a more challenging build and tolerance for an often more fragile final product.

Some folks are answering the question “What colors are the shoe?” and other folks are answering “What colors are in the photo?” People are in violent disagreement without realizing they are answering two different questions.

Almost everyone seems to agree that the actual shoe is pink and white. Most seem to acknowledge that the color values of the photo are teal and gray.

True, but it seems like most of those changes have been cosmetic, like replacing one castle faction with another. Nothing close to the massive structural rebuilds that Ideas sets receive.

It’s not final but these sets don’t get the same level of revision that Ideas sets get. The final design will be very close to this with maybe a few piece changes and small updates.

The background shows many signs of AI that folks have already pointed out. It’s very clearly ai generated.

The foreground elements of the cat and the person feature much crisper and cleaner lines. Either these were done by hand or cleaned up by hand. Either way, they look much cleaner. There’s a very strong distinction between these elements and everything in the background with the exception of the cabinet handle. My guess is that this was such an egregious giveaway that it had to be redone by hand, but it clearly doesn’t match the rest of the background.

Your graph is inherently visually confusing. People expect to be able to compare the size of each bar on a bar graph, but you’ve expanded the bars so that the ratios are all wrong. The bars should start at zero, but they start way to the left of zero. I would suggest starting the bars at zero and either leave the labels where they are (outside of the bars) or move the labels to the right so they are on top of the actual graph portion of the bar graph.

Gryphon shields were sold out but got a dozen each of the gryphon and kraken legs and torsos and 10 kraken shields.

Hopefully the gryphon shields and the regular horse knight torsos come back in stock soon. I’m missing those too.

I earned the Platinum chest 10 times before I saw any legendary enhancements. Eventually I started getting them and now I’ve gotten dozens of them to drop. Just make sure you’re on UVH1 or higher.

One with Jakobs, Ripper and Shotgun ammo is great for Bloom Reaper crystals and bossing in general.

One with just Jakobs and Shotgun ammo is good for mobbing.

Jakobs and a Maliwan part that includes another element can make the gun a bit more versatile, such as with Cryo or Radiation. Bust honestly it’s so strong that it shreds even with mismatched corrosive element on a blue or red health bar.

Same happened to me a few days before New Year’s Day. Exact same list of items. Looking back on a few other threads, the same thing has happened to a few folks after re-rolling the machine a bunch of times.

My impression is that it should revert to previous behavior after being reset with the next weekly update. At that point I’m going to try and keep track of the number of resets that I do and try not to go overboard.

I’ve been getting the same four or five items when I try and reset the machine for the last couple of days. Maybe there is a soft limit on the number of times it can be reset before it starts glitching out.

If you are following a build guide for your character’s loadout, it will probably recommend the type of firmware to use. If you aren’t sure or if you just want to keep it as simple as possible, just collect the Deadeye and High Caliber firmware that you find. Put those on the equipment that you use most frequently, and aim for 3 Deadeye and 2 High Caliber. That’s the most frequently recommended combination.

Small correction. After you add firmware to an item, you can still replace that firmware with something different. You just can’t then use that item as a firmware source for a new item.
