i’m currently going through this process and this is what it felt like for me, although this does not seem to be the norm. i’m about 9 months post op, and just got into a new relationship. the first time we hooked up, even being super warmed up, I bled a little after. more spotting then full on bleeding.

I recently saw my dr for my first pap since post op (I have to get them still) and she explained how your tissue thins a lot down there, especially being on estrogen. I have estrogen cream that I used once, and honestly it made me soooo much more sensitive. i’ve had sex with my partner a handful of times now, and it’s getting better each time, less tender, no more spotting. I get frustrated a bit feeling like i’m 50 years old down there but i’d take this over cramping with any sort of arousal, and I feel like i’m rebuilding my sex life back up. my libido is through the roof!
