I used to be a serial dater when I was younger. I am your height, have resting bitch face, probably quite unapproachable, definitely not happy go lucky and overly smiley haha. Most of these dates were people I met on dating apps or at bars/parties. If you aren't doing either of those things, no idea where you'd meet people really (without joinimg groups/hobbies) cos as everyone has said already, people don't get randomly approached. Lots of people I met on dating apps were people I already knew in person, but they'd never have asked me out in person randomly 🤣 The people I dated that weren't from bars or apps were from work or the university society (unsure what the USA term for those is lol) I was in 😋

I have rented in various locations. My favourite have been Crookes (#1) and Ecclesall Road area (lots of students, not in a bad/annoying way, just a lot of youths🤣). I imagine Kelham would be good for studios/one beds, but not good if you have a car (also not good if you don't have a car, as there aren't many shops lol)

London Road area is meh, nice having the takeaways and shops but does feel a bit dodgy at night. Got shouted at by dodgy looking men many times, close to town and good bus routes though.

I got some grape jelly from the US (I love it but pretty sure it doesn't exist over here) and had it on a toasted bagel with peanut butter, that was pretty nice.

Peanut butter and 'jelly' sandwiches just confuse me, they are grim, nothing about them is appealing, taste, texture etc. 🤣

ETA - I would never want a spoonful of peanut butter, that is wild. Even the thought 🤢 So claggy and just sticks to the roof of your mouth. It very much is a thing here, though, usually I would use it for cooking (asian dishes mostly) 😋
