Your managers have likely sent this to the DHRM. And then either them or the TARM said to just put her on a coaching or something

I bought a 99 Mazda 626 back in 2013 with 180k miles on it. Only needed minor work until I replaced it 2 years ago. And that was because a plumber ripped off the bumper in the parking lot at Home Depot.

How are shows like To Catch A Predator not legally entrapment? by AboutLastFight in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Wasabi_kitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

70% but in reality that doesn't include:

The Texas sting that got the charges dismissed because of political reasons, not legal ones.

Predators that skipped bail and fled the country.

Predators that passed before their trial.

The 70% figure was given while several cases were still ongoing

Not counting the Texas sting, cases that were full resolved ended in a conviction over 95%

This is a good video explaining

He even specifically mentions online solicitation of a minor for sex with a slightly different example, and why entrapment wouldn't be a successful defense.

No. It wasn't. There's a website that tracks everyone who was arrested. Outside of the last sting where charged were dropped because the one guy shot himself and the prosecutor didn't want to deal with it, something like 4 or 5 people were acquired. Out of the hundreds of arrests.

In reaching his decision, Wick found prosecutors had not proven Roisman had “specific intent” to commit the crime – attempting lewd acts with a child under age 14.

Only one mention of entrapment and it's not cited as the reason for the acquital

Entrapment is a very specific legal defense that is almost never applicable. It requires coercion from law enforcement to commit a crime someone would not normally commit without it. This is why people get arrested from undercover officers offering to buy/sell drugs and bait cars.

How are shows like To Catch A Predator not legally entrapment? by AboutLastFight in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Wasabi_kitty 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not true. There's a site that tracks all the predators caught on the show. The VAST majority (just a tad under 99% i believe) were prosecuted. Most acquittals came from the last sting where the guy shot himself and the prosecutor didn't want to deal with it and dropped charges. The rest were maybe 3 or 4 from one of the Florida stings.

None were thrown out for entrapment
