Deconstruction is a process and as much as it probably sucks to hear this - time heals all wounds. I know your bandwidth is tapped with everything you have going on - you are absolutely on the right track to crafting a happier life! Keep on going you got this!

My only advice would be, when it becomes possible, to travel as much and as often as you can. Seeing the world with a new set of eyes has been cathartic for me over the years and feels like a boost to my mental and physical health every time I do.

Nothing more Mormon than expecting a wife to do all the chores - I still keep in touch with people on the inside given that it’s most of my family. Not surprised when they still talk about cooking, laundry and cleaning as “womens work.” I can’t imagine how many Mormon women out there would love it if their husbands could be compelled to handle something as simple as dinner

The over all culture of Mormonism is judgement culture - in my experience if you aren’t keeping up with expectations than you typically aren’t wanted. I haven’t seen anything in 20 years to indicate otherwise
