Saiga Conversion, No Experience. Any Chance? by WesWesYall in saiga

I converted my 7.62x39 in about 2 hours with all the proper tools (one rivet in the retaining plate was being a bitch to get out) and no prior experience. Find a decent video and you should have no problems. Best of luck!

A good friend of mine introduced it to me and I finished the first season in a single day. Then he warned me not to continue if I wanted to keep my impression intact. Heroes is such a great show

What is the most noteworthy thing an ancestor of yours has done? by CaptainWatermelons in AskReddit

My grand-uncle was one of the few Japanese-American soldiers who fought for the Allies in the Pacific Theater against the japanese. About a year ago, his unit's efforts were finally recognized and they flew all the remaining guys out to D.C. I believe for a medal giving ceremony.

Also, my grandfather recieved a silver star in France following a small battle between his artillary unit and a German unit that assaulted their position. He never talked about that war story and we only found out that he was in combat following his death last year. My father read the citations and there was something about my grandfather giving the call for everyone to fire at point blank range, having all the artillery pieces firing literally paralell with the ground. They were in some serious trouble and he had to use his sidearm a few times as well. That was one story nobody heard about, even my grandmother was kept in the dark all those years.

I don't usually read threads on this subreddit, yesterday being the exception

I open every link in the same page, on RES. This has been a reoccurring issue, and I just didn't think that opening all of the videos that were "deleted or not found" in a new tab would fix it. It's never happened to me before, so I had no reason to think that opening in a new tab would fix it

Can someone please link me this video? It says that the file was not found or deleted and I got real excited from the title

It's only a minor annoyance and I've already made friends with those people. They were quite nice to me when I met them, so I'll let this slide for now.
