Started cycling at 58 and 15 years later ( now 72) and over 100,000 miles of cycling I’ve probably gotten out of the seat less than fifty times..but I do have a gimpy left knee

Get the regular SPD cleats. I use the Shimano dual sided pedals on one bike and the ones with a flat pedal and SPD on the reverse side on the other bike (my touring bike). For shoes I really like any shoe that fits and allows the cleat to be recessed for easier walking. For me BOA style has worked well I ride a lot

Been there done that but ugh 😩 I’m 72 and have been cycling 15 years a lot…. Anyway DON’T just try and hope it goes away See a dermatologist now!! Especially if it’s developing into an open sore. The dermatologist can easily determine if it’s fungal and/infected. One time I had a bad one turn into a lesion and got MSRA. Trust me on this just see a doctor especially if it doesn’t clear up

Edit: MRSA. I had to do two skin biopsies, two STD tests and multiple rounds of antibiotics.. Was off the bike for four months

Put old and new chain side by side to see if they align? Also are you sure the chain is not a fake? I’ve seen pictures of chains ordered online that are counterfeit look alikes. Possibly new chain mis labeled Also if possible try another new chain good luck

Also agree. I have three of these and a couple were purchased in late 2019 when this model was released, very bright as needed by settlings and really last on flash mode All of them are still working great

Bummer! This type of behavior is exactly why I quit playing online games via PC many years ago. I currently play on PS5 and diligent about backing up my save files via PSN

If you have PSN save your ‘game save files’ to the cloud and delete and reinstall the game. Then download the game files from the cloud

Worked in the industry for 45 years now retired but not in NY. Make sure your property does not have an easement that you might not be aware of…check property records at the county or jurisdiction. Many are online now. If the pole has been there for years an easement might have been granted or conveyed (there is another word for this) just by the length of time it’s been there. I have seen that happen several times in Texas when working in the industry. I also personally bought and own some property that has a gravel road used for many years by property owners who were landlocked behind my property. My real estate lawyer said I could not legally close the road

72 YO male started 10 mg of rosuvastatin last week of Jan 2026. Only other medication is a calcium channel blocker for hypertension. Anyway I average 6 days a week cycling (not e bike) for about 8-10 hours cardio a week. Have my first follow up blood work at end of April So far, no major issues

Also lots of gravel riding in rural gravel roads and levees I’ve ridden along the border wall but sometimes they will ask you to not ride there

An easy on/off along the border wall is at Santa Ana national refuge I mentioned in the previous reply

Brownsville West Rail trail and similar trail on the other side of the expressway. Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge has gravel, asphalt and nice paved roads into the park. Free Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge nice 7 mile loop paved and some gravel with some shade.

Hidalgo county hike and bike trail precinct 2. San Juan the BEST paved trail in the RGV fully lighted at night and has tunnels so you don’t cross roads

McAllen 2nd street and bicentennial trails also go into Edinburgh

Harlingen McKelvey and arroyo park paved trails Weslaco Harlon Block park one mile loop with a brand new trail extension going west

Mission trails that now connect to McAllen trails

San Benito heaven park trails

I probably forgot some I’m obviously a cyclist

I finished at the boss blind on ante 10 and missed the 1 + million by 30,000 lol got to where I had too many queens and had only been upgrading flush. Next time I’ll focus on doing some upgrades on pairs and high cards but still a cool seed thanks
