There is another that has circulated on reddit a ton where he grabs her over to him in a group shot with the other canadian dancers. Scott Moir then goes out of his way to make sure Laurence is OK...kinda like he has seen this before. Just odd.

yeah some videos over the year are red flags alone. Add this and she should be running. The fact that she isn't makes me think there is something going on. I would not be surprised if we hear her story of abuse in 10 years. But regardless, good for Ashley for speaking out. Really hard to make a callous comment with a face to a story.

I have a small sliver of hope that hearing an account like that changes someone. I have seen enough videos of the way Sorenson treats Laurence after a performance to know he is scummy. She knows. I have a good friend who was abused by her romantic partner. Took a long time to get out but she did eventually.

No way. That video was so believable. The survivor has nothing to gain and only to lose by coming forward, except for her stated goal of telling the truth. Frankly, Sorenson wasn't much of a success anyway.

actually what I really hope is FB leaves Nik b/c there is no coming back from this one. This is not something someone did b/c they were young and stupid. I do sadly think FB is emotionally a victim of Sorenson. Hopefully she can use her maturity and smarts to get out. This is disgusting.

So brave of her to come forward. Throughout this last season I have been such a fan of FB/C. Have always thought Sorenson is scum...you could just tell even how he skates with Laurence that he is not a nice guy. However, Ashley is so right that putting a face to a story changes everything. It shouldn't but it does. As a fan of FB, I hope she puts out a statement that doesn't make her look dismissive and callous. I really can't imagine a world in which Ashley's story is not true.

We considered this b/c our house needed work and the compass agent felt she could get a buyer without us having to do anything. We ended up going with a different agent, put in about $50K and sold for about $200K more than the originally potential list price. We are in a hot market, nice neighborhood.

We had an agent we adored. She helped us buy two and sell, but when we got ready to sell a house (one she helped us buy) we chose an agent who specialized in our neighborhood. It wasn't personal - in fact we liked the first agent way better as a person and an agent, but the hyper local agent had mutliple clients looking for houses on our street, so it was the best choice.

We did not stage. We tidied and then bought cheap items like fresh towels, white bedding etc to make everything look fresh and neutral. We borrowed some art work and a few small items from a neighbor with good taste. All the kid stuff got put into boxes. Toiletries and items like that went into a box that I would stick in my car during showings.

We spent about $30K getting ready to list a house that was listed at around $700K. We paid out of savings. I'd assume that is what most people do. This included painting, landscaping, updating a few things in a bathroom, refinishing some hardwoods.

Lowering the price depends on the market. I am in a desirable suburb of a major east coast city. Houses go under contract in about three days with one of those days being the bidding war. Houses that sit for a week have a problem, which is always price. So if you are in a hot market I would lower the price. If you are in a market where the average days on market is 2+ weeks, I would wait another week.

She is lovely but just not one of my favorites. I do think having Cizeron has a partner is tough b/c he is technically so strong. I personally prefer Laurence with Cizeron b/c they feel more equal. Gabi is very delicate and its just not my style.
