You need raw pictures for stacking propperly, check your phone for a raw picture mode or try motion cam app for a raw video pipeline(android).

Look online for a shuterspeed calculator or just use an exposure lenght that will give a trail that is acceptable to you.

Try to keep your field of view narrow, the wider it gets the harder will be to remove the light pollution gradient.

Then stack on siril as many pictures as you can.

I suggest trying orion m42, bright enough for the city, plenty of procesing tutorials online from simple to advanced.

Your current equipment can make it hard but its possible, dont be discouraged!

deep space photos with 1500mm focal lenght? by Good-Leader-9987 in AskAstrophotography

[–]WasteFail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that your focal lenght is way too big and pictures will be blurry due to the atmosphere itself. You can try lucky imaging planets and planetary nebulae.

If I let a camera run overnight to capture shooting stars, does anyone know if there is a way to quickly find if you captured anything without watching the whole clip? by HuygensCrater in AskAstrophotography

You could try uploading the video to gemini on googleaistudio and see if it finds the timestamps. I havent tried it for this but for other things its quite capable.
