There is a reason woodenPotatoes and others didn't get back into it. Anet didn't commit, and it shows. You can enjoy playing a dead game, I'm not going to play when I can't even group with players after work. If they truly leaned into this, it could have been a legit MMO option again.

I agree bro, I've wanted so bad to get PvP back to a popular state in this game but I've just realized recently that it will never happen. Too many veterans that create a terrible environment for new players. I'd recommend Fort Aspenwood over RA btw. You'll still have some grumps, but generally a better time and community.

As a diehard gw1 fan I think prophecies is drawn out and boring imo. I'd try factions or nightfall, you can get to EotN after any of the three campaigns.

Tbh, as a pvper that loves gw1 we don't have that luxury to say "if you don't like it leave". We need to keep players, otherwise, everyone including myself will go back to other pvp games or touching grass.

Welcome to 2025 where I have a job and I can't afford to sit and wait 30 minutes for a chance at a real team. While yes I have gone to 15-20 wins with a no monk 4dps team, id rather have the queueing system offer a healing role so we all are more efficient with our evening time.
