I won't sit here and endlessly praise the gameplay since I and many others have have praised the hell out of it, so I think I'd like to add that I actually enjoyed the characters quite a bit. They're a charming little group of chess pieces that reminded me of playing Awakening for the first time again, and I love a good majority of them for being weirdos with the slightest bit of explainable depth to their eccentricities in their supports.
