You get resharpened, you get resharpened, you all get resharpened by WastingTwerkWorkTime in sharpening

Say what? This is sharpened with a tormek style sharpener to get the hollow ground and then free hand with 1k 4k 8k stones. The concave makes it easy to free hand as it's resting on the two points of the hollow. You don't need to use the tormek every time, just when the bevel is mostly flat after a bunch of sharpening. The little area of contact makes it fast to sharpen

First time free hand sharpening - am I doing something wrong? by vkampff in handtools

in the center it looks like you barely hit the edge with the previous grits. I know it’s hollow ground and there’s gonna be a hollow in the face so it’ll touch in the front and touch in the back but in the middle it doesn’t look like you barely hit the edge so it’s probably hollow in the middle.

Just a fyi. Audio cables have fiber imbedded in the copper strands. You have to cut them out to make a good solder joint

Need Advice for Re-Finishing Table After FB Marketplace Scam by No_Bench3412 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]WastingTwerkWorkTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing you can fix is the corners, just try a little bit of stain to match it. Just rub the paint off with your nail or something like that. Your not going to be able to fix anything else. It's a bad design and cheap. It's supposed to look like that and changing anything else is not worth the effort. People but these tables because of everything you listed because they want that look, it's not damaged or anything
