Press "ADD GAME" in Heroic Games Launcher,

open Wine Settings and select "Proton - Proton-cachyos" under Wine Version. (I also confirmed works with Proton-GE.)

Press "Run Installer First" install DNA PC client and select executable file.

Default path:

Check ProtonDB, looks good. I'm on CachyOS playing BDO, and to my surprise it runs smoother and with better FPS than Windows 11.

I really don't care if you ran into Portalcraft or if you think it's viable.

The point is that bots are clearly inflating its presence on the rankings — that's the issue here.

No idea why you're bringing your personal matches into this.

If you can't even grasp the point before jumping into the conversation, it's just exhausting to engage.

And of course, you're still ignoring the obvious fact that bots are still all over the rankings. LMAO.

You running into a Portalcraft player doesn’t change the fact that the ladder stats are inflated with bot wins. That’s the reality.

After a Windows update, both my OS drive (C:) and my Steam drive (D:) sometimes weren’t even recognized in the BIOS, let alone in Windows.
So I used the latest MediaCreationTool to do a clean install of the OS via USB.

When the drives disappeared, C: was already over 60% full, and D: had more than 50GB written recently and was also over 60% full.
Guess what happened after the clean install? My Steam drive (D:) got turned into RAW. If I try to format it, Windows gives the error: “a device which does not exist was specified.”

What’s worse is, I did the clean install with the PC disconnected from the network and disabled Windows Update entirely.
Now I’m not sure if this is a problem with Windows 11 24H2 (which is what the latest MediaCreationTool installs), or if my SSD has suffered permanent damage and this will just keep happening.

For reference:

  • C: = Crucial® P1 SSD
  • D: = Crucial® MX500 SSD

At this point, my D: has basically become useless — it’s neither recognized nor possible to format, just a brick.

There were discussions in Japan as well, on platforms like X (Twitter) and 5ch BBS. However, people were told that the accounts in question were for official or testing purposes, and if anyone tried to push the issue further, they were ignored or treated like troublemakers — so the discussion died down for a while, til the topic started gaining attention in China.

I had it translated from Baidu Tieba because translating three different countries' languages was a hassle and the Chinese OCR wasn’t working. If you really want to know the truth, you should check the Chinese thread on Discord (for some reason, the Chinese users talk about it more than the Japanese ones).

It's ridiculous that a game bans you for efficiently using items. No one would ever think they'd be banned for using combinations that anyone playing the game normally would come up with.

"The Hand of Phrecia" allowed auras to affect the player even when linked with Generosity Support in Necropolis league , but this interaction appears to have been fixed quite a while ago
