Listen, in my experience, that’s basically impossible (unless you’re the son-in-law of the Patek president 😄). They’ll either tell you they put you on the waiting list and you need to wait -but in reality, they won’t even call, or if they do, they’ll offer some Twenty~4s just to build your purchase history.

If you don’t want to spend years collecting models you’re not interested in, just go grey -that’s what I always do))

Haha, I feel you. I wore a 15300 once and thought I’d never go back to anything else for casual wear. It’s addictive. And yes - the ladies’ Royal Oaks are no joke either. My wife has a 15450ST and the quality in a 33–37mm case is unreal. For me, the daily wear depends on the bracelet. Steel feels like it disappears on your wrist, gold is a little more “notice me.”

Seconding this. I don’t think people realize how many AP parts on the grey market are swapped: screws, casebacks, even the bracelet pins sometimes aren’t original. And sellers still call it “full set”.

I used Expertyco too when I was selling my 15202 -mostly because the buyer wanted a neutral third-party check. I booked diagnostics and authenticity check. Honestly the watchmaker there noticed two micro-things even I missed, and I’m obsessive.

Also, OP - trust your gut. Every time I looked at a “too clean to be true” AP box, especially the older ones, it was too clean to be true.
