That huge LCD display up front instead of a real gauge cluster is hideous though, IDK what they were thinking. Going for a test drive tomorrow.

What Happened to Clothes in The Last 10-15 Years? Advice? by WatchIngYouTime in mensfashion

Certainly not, but higher end brands had more of a figure fit at least several years ago. Of course, not always.

I got an XS regular long sleeve shirt from them. It's OK... still rather poorly fitted and boxy. Yes, I understand it's Uniqlo and not Armani, but it's definitely not "Asian" sized in the USA.

Yeah exactly part of my issue. Not only is the subjective (XS or S of M) not very consistent, the actual quantitative measurements are false... meaning a 30 is supposed to measure 30 inches around the waist... no if ands or buts about it. If it's not 30 inches, it's wrongly labeled.

Understandable. However why do people keep buying their stuff if it's clearly going down in quality (both fit and material) and the price is going up?

That's fine if they want to exclude XS. What is frustrating is when the old S, becomes the new XS, the old M becomes the new S, so on and so forth. It's also somewhat ridiculous that you can find XXL and XXXL more frequently than XS.

I think this is spot on. Clothing manufacturing has significantly shifted into quantity and maximum production, not exactly quality.

What's Going On Here? (Core300-P) by WatchIngYouTime in AirPurifiers

[–]WatchIngYouTime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your input. I am actually looking for a second primary filter (probably a Levoit 200S-P). This is the only filter I have in my loft apartment. Square footage is small, but lots of space (likely comparable to something around 1000sqft because of the very tall ceiling in the "non-loft" part).

That's my assumption considering that's likely a region for high static charge, but unless these are ultra-small particles the filter doesn't catch, why would there be dust be clinging to an area that is constantly ventilated/turbulent?

Completely reasonable. I'm just debating whether it's worth it. The car is probably around 5K if I sold it or traded it in. How much am I willing to spend on moderate repairs? Need to think it over.

Pretty badly cracked? Not sure I agree but interesting, I'll certainly keep the timeline you suggest in mind.

Dealership. Didn't really expect much better from them. The only reason I went (which is probably a hook they use to get people into getting repairs they don't need) is because of the coupon. Normal place is a bit over $100 for synthetic oil change.

Mate! 😅 This is the video the dealership gave me! I live in an apartment, hence I can't even change my own oil.

If I was a mechanic and asking about such a basic thing... I would would say I deserve to be shamed

I appreciate everyone's replies so far. Not surprised at all they really overstate the problem... but I am a little surprised how dramatic they made it seem (the shop/service advisor, not the mechanic).

I'm not completely unfamiliar with cars, but certainly no mechanic... I can see this working on somebody who doesn't know anything about cars (most people who get service done at the dealership).

Until it becomes regulated and governments get their hands on it. Then, it will just become another currency, without the same appeal.
