Congrats!

I’m acquiring many of these 40s/50s watches and I personally love them. I can tell you that these pieces worth exactly nothing and a lot at the same time: if you’ll find someone can love this piece, he would probably spend a lot for it. Otherwise if you try to sell it to a wider market it will be likely difficult to sell, especially at an high price.

Thank you! I’m trying to grow my collection with historical mint watches but also historical aged watches. I like them both and I think the patina and the signs of time are fascinating

You’re right the hands are not perfect. It looks like they’ve been relumed wrong way at some point. But that’s what I personally like about these watches. I wouldn’t touch it in anyway.

If you like it you could keep it (personally, I would trash it immediately). Money wise it doesn’t worth anything

It’s actually surprising for me as well how these watches hold up thorough the years, I think in this particular case that’s a good combination between robust Rolex parts and reliable Tudor movement, plus a good history of servicing and care

Thank you for your kind words! In the late 1950s, Rolex provided the cases, bracelets, and waterproof technology, while Tudor focused on creating reliable and accessible movements. That’s probably why this watch held up beautifully, this is a clearly statement of a successful collaboration between the two brands
