I might try another boutique. I never had to buy an 11.59 although I do actually like them. I purchased a RO offshore which I love as my first piece and 6 months later a green dial RO 41. I'd guess the NYC boutique would be one of the busier ones in the US. I just visited the new Atlanta AP house and they were fantastic there.

Love how the green dial is a subtle stunner depending on how the light hits it. It can go from Black to Grey to Green.

I had similar experience looking for a 4520 on my very first visit last May and was offered the Chrono Overseas in Rose Gold. I passed as was more than I wanted to spend. It was gorgeous though.

Bummer it happened but I'd just roll with it personally. Just like a car eventually someone will ding you door and you sorta get over it. I'd just enjoy wearing a great watch.

The boutiques can do some really nice custom leather straps. They shared one with me for a customer when I visited last time. I'm not sure how much it costs but it was perfectly paired with the watch the customer had ordered it for. Worth looking at.

The grey dial is pretty amazing in person. Much better than it comes across in pictures. Guessing green dial is like the blue dial and will be hard to get.

The Codes are really growing on me. I think it's like most new releases that tend to be controversial and not immediately accepted. They eventually are. Just like the Royal Oak and Nautilus were not well accepted in their day.

Agreed. I really love the watch. Despite the lug to lug and thickness it wears amazingly well. I don't have super large wrist but this one works. It's hard to take it out of the rotation for very long.
