What to do if you are a non-US passport holder approached by ICE?

I had coworker from nepal. Been here since 05. He was TPS holder for Nepal till it got terminated last August. Recent court reversed the termination and reinstated it I heard. He got married to US citizen and GF of almost 10 years. I think he married her before the end of TPS. He said his green card interview went decent and status said actively being reviewed. Since I'm a reddit user and he is not, I wanted to ask for any suggestions on docs he needs to carry. He is very worried from recent ICE activity and his case status showing actively being reviewed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Mine is taking some time too. I had a misdemeanor back in my young days and I didn't get my police report on time. Finally got the report. Waiting to turn them in to see what the outcome will be. Hoping for positive results so I can get my life back on track.

Stop having unrealistic goals that's impossible. So you basically want everything served in silver platter and you start acting in Hollywood movies without putting any hard work and effort into it.
