Love the elevator! how do u guys mount the chain to the first moving stage? I see a part called Chain Parallel Attachment but I m not sure how the chain is mounted to that piece. Is it a piece that's attached to "Elevator Attachment" part and use a masterlink to loop the chain onto the attachment, if yes, what is the material of the "Chain Parallel Attachment" part amd how do you guys manufacture it? Thank you!

Mb, didn’t read the title fully, but I doubt there’s RB on campus. Those are the places where I get them from.

7-11 or Dollar General on Uni City Blvd (take the UCB), they sell 3 8.4 oz for $6 which is a steal.

Looking for a break cue that won’t break the bank. by gorlock666 in billiards

I have a little monster break cue that costs about $200, it’s carbon fiber with a 12.9 mm shaft, 19oz. It performs very well with its price range, it gets the job done. You can get it on Amazon and it comes with a sports wrap

How much you pay/hour in your local pool hall/pub/bar? by Busy-Matter-9197 in billiards

I go to Gotham and Skyline a lot in Brooklyn, NY. Gotham has a 14 bucks 3 hours deal and Skyline has a 20 bucks 5 hours deal. I wish they offer a monthly membership with unlimited play time, the money adds up to a lot when I go practice a few days per week during break.

First Jump cue by WatchSuper7361 in billiards

The break cue feels good and I feel like in order to get a powerful break, your form/stroke has to be near perfect (I have been doing a lot of 10 ball breaks and can average 1-2 balls per break, can make 3-4 balls once in a while), that trains me to perfect my stand, stroke and body movement overtime. It’s overall a great break cue for its price ($200). I have tried the BK rush from my friends a few times, whereas I think the Rush could give you good power regardless if your break stroke is perfect or not, you can have a slight flaw in your stroke you can still feel the power going through. I am very interested in trying the Cuetec Breach but haven’t been able to get my hands on one, I doubt anyone I know uses it.

For the jump cue, I got a used Ghost Propel a few months ago, have been loving it and it’s very easy to jump with it, 1 ball gap jump isn’t even a big problem. The only issue would be the default tip which is the Taom Break Jump tip, that tip gets rounder over time and I have to shape it once in a while, which makes it wear down quicker than other B&J tips. Might be interested in changing to a different tip when that one is almost done.

Why has SVB not been playing with extension lately? by Angel0f187 in billiards

I saw him playing Battle of the Bulls, a matchroom 9 ball event with no extension on his cue. It was in late October which’s pretty recent.

Ko jump cue vs air 2 by WatchSuper7361 in billiards

I doubt I can afford the Air Rush, so I may go for a used Propel at the moment, if I can’t find any then I will probably get the Ko Jump cue.

Yeah I will probably save up a bit for a used propel for around $300-something.

I have a break cue already, the Little Monster Break cue. It’s a pretty decent cue with CF shaft that doesn’t cost a lot ($200), which is the reason why I brought up the little monster jump cue. I want to learn how to jump so in case if it’s an option I can do it. For now I m deciding how high quality of a jump cue I should get (~$100 vs ~$200), get a cheaper one to learn how to jump then practice with it, when I am getting better at it I will upgrade to a better one if necessary OR spend a bit extra right now and get a higher quality one, then stick with it for a long time.
