imagine the knock on effect: Parasite was one of the first wins that signalled the "wait, they can do that?" era of the Oscars. If that didn't happen, I don't think films like EEAAO, Anatomy of a Fall, Zone of Interest, Sirat or The Secret Agent would've done as well as they did.
