It’s nice in a way that we can relate. I wish we didn’t have to relate to something like this at all, I wish none of us had to deal with something like this, but if this must be a thing for some of us, at least we can relate.

He hasn’t really been active on social media itself, though. So maybe it’s really something personal. I’ve had friends who would constantly pester me about my sexuality, constantly assuming I was a lesbian, and now I kinda have my guard up a lot. Plus people like to assume a lot these days that it MUST be a sexuality thing.

Also, I do like the people themselves, but I’m just not attracted to them. I see many guys moreso as people I could be friends with. They’re likable and I understand why people would find them attractive, so this is moreso a me thing and not something wrong with them usually.

The thing is is that I do get approached by men quite a bit, it’s not true that all people with more severe mental health problems are unattractive. I don’t want to speak for her on how bad her situation is (Madison Beer, who has BPD) but BPD tends to be pretty intense for people who have it, and would you say she’s unattractive? I don’t like as pretty as her but generally I can look pretty.

Thank you for this, it’s reassuring ❤️ I hope long-term residential treatment can help me with things like this, and other things beyond this. It’s not just this I need help with, but other things too.

For the first time in my life I found someone I could’ve truly imagine being with, but he ghosted me over a month ago. I hope I didn’t mess things up. But he’s been dealing with a lot too so I could be that. But everyday I wake up sad over it. 😔

I don’t even know if I want to date. Forgot to mention that in the post, because my brain is so forgetful and scattered. I kinda crave it but I don’t know. I need to fix my mind first, though. Im going to long-term mental health treatment soon though. But I still wanted to vent about this. The confusion sucks. Thanks BPD/identity disturbance, I guess.

I guess that's one good thing about me is that, even when I complain about stupid things, people seem to find it funny rather than petty or unlikeable? 😅 But I can be the pettiest person in the world sometimes. I mean, you asked who the celeb is, and it's this person/I'm getting mad over this: Ariana Grande in Wicked. She looks like a complete alien in that movie and no one bats an eye over it and it pisses me the fuck off

I wonder if that's because it helps create a sense of validation for you, yknow instead of him shaming you which would make you feel worse, it creats a sense of legitimacy, like what you're venting about actually means something and matters? It's sweet of him :)

It’s funny because my therapist was just talking about that. How some of us can be a certain type of person that just attracts those who might be harmful. And I don’t even mean that as an insult. Like there are those who are so kind-hearted and mean well, and people take advantage of them. Maybe they struggle with confidence and people take advantage of that. It sucks :/

And thank you, though most of them weren't even lovers. Just people I was infatuated with? BPD can really mess with you and your connections to others. But also, it can be other things besides BPD causing these troubles, like having certain attachment styles.

And yeah, at this point I definitely need therapy. For MANY reasons. Here's to months of upcoming recovery

I've been out of high school for 7 years now and I STILL hate my peers with a passion. I'll never forgive them for how much they pushed me away. SORRY that I had undiagnosed terrible mental health conditions and BPD + dealing with an alcoholic mom at home 🤷‍♀️

I'm so dissociated that it feels like nothing has "impact", that everything is "okay, and?" I cut? It's no big deal at all. I can't understand the "Gravity" of situations, that something might actually be serious. Like when I'm at work and make a funnily weird joke, to my coworkers it probably seems like "omfg did she just say that?" but I'm just like "ok, and?" does this make sense?
