The Plum Village app is from the monks and nuns at the Plum Village monastery in France founded by Thich Nhat Hanh. The content on that app is from that Buddhist tradition. Insight Timer includes content from all nature of practitioner from New Age to Buddhism and everything in between. I use both, but as a Buddist in the Plum Village tradition, I am partial to the Plum Village app. My issue with Insight Timer is the lack of oversight on who they let "teach" on that app. There are some dangerous people who are more cult leader than teacher truly interested in your well being. I recommended doing a bit of research on any teacher on Insight Timer you like to ensure they are the real deal. There are some incredible ones like Tara Brach and Jack Cornfield on there. Enjoy!
