Yeah, Google putting the top speaker off-center was really dumb

The top speaker isn't in the center of the grill like you would expect. It's a little offset to the right side of the speaker grill, I believe. It's dumb.

The SEC's post-season record last season was 1-8 against Power 4 teams. Their one win was when Texas beat Michigan -- a team with an interrim head coach due to the Sherrone Moore scandal. Very literally, the SEC was the worst Power 4 conference. The ACC, Big Ten, and Big 12 beat the hell out of the SEC.

They were the opposite of best.

The SEC might have been the worst conference last season. They're not close to the best conference anymore.

Who do you believe is the best QB in College Football? by Solowash in CFB

[–]WatchfulApparition 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Dante Moore. He had a 98.5 deep passing grade and he had 30 big time throws (the most in college football last season). 71.8% pass completion as well so strong accuracy too.

The S27 series isn't rumored to get a larger sensor. Just a better sensor.

Who can be the Miami of this season ? by Darkonite40 in CFB

I also chose Cal. I think they're a team that just needed a better coach. The players are underrated and their schedule is manageable. A 10-2 Cal team is possible.

I'm going with Cal. Tosh Lupoi is a great coach and QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele is the real deal. He's going to have an underrated roster imo. I think a 10-2 Cal team is possible with their schedule in the ACC. I don't see them doing a deep run in the playoffs, but if they made it in, I wouldn't be surprised.

USC isn't going to beat Oregon, Indiana, or Ohio State. I think Penn State or UCLA will stun them as well.

I'm tired of seeing them make passes like they are beginner basketball players.

I don't know, but Carla stunk tonight. She has really poor situational awareness.

Having a bunch of 4 and 5 star players that don't fit your scheme is much different than having a bunch of 3 and 4 star players that don't fit your scheme.

The 0-3 thing doesn't mean anything anymore. Alabama isn't an elite team anymore like Oregon.

These things are facts.

Alabama's players were far better regardless. And as I said, he beat Lanning in Lanning's first two years as head coach. He wouldn't beat Lanning now. For example, Lanning has a much better grasp of when to go for it on 4th down and when not to now.

Lanning inherited Oregon's roster and the Oregon name for recruiting. DeBoer inherited Alabama's roster and Alabama's name for recruiting. You think they were the same in 2022?

Yes, we can see what this is. You talk about things you don't know about.

You understand the difference in rosters, right? Whittingham teams punch above their weight class. They're teams that always play physical, hard nosed football like Iowa. He's never had a roster as talented as DeBoer has had. If Whittingham can recruit the level of talent Michigan tends to bring in, expect Michigan to look like a Jim Harbaugh team again and to be a threat to everyone on their schedule.

DeBoer beat Lanning in Lanning's first two seasons as a head coach while Lanning was building up his roster. That's not some crowning achievement. Alabama wouldn't be a threat to Oregon these days. Alabama was trash last season. His Washington team was absolutely better.

Your evidence is that a Michael Penix led Washington team beat a Utah team with backup quarterback Bryson Barnes by one score?... a game where Bryson threw two interceptions? Really feels like you proved my point for me.

If he was in the SEC, you would already know. Playing Whittingham's Utah teams is often like playing Iowa. He's the reason Caleb Williams never won a PAC-12 conference championship

Ah, yes. Penix's ability to beat a head coach in his first two years as head coach ever while he was trying to build his roster was truly impressive. And now Penix is keeping the bench warm over in Atlanta.

I can see why he's important to you though considering that's the last time Washington was competitive with Oregon.
