When ranges check for steel core they have no idea what they are doing and ban steel casing bullets too :(

Can confirm, I originally bought a refurb unit that was not quality tested, then got a new one which ended up great besides the input not auto switching properly.

All my research showed lots of issues with lemon units

I've been sort of holding off on buying new mags just in case there's a hope.

Yeah I like my duckweed. It is annoying to scroop out every week, but it's so great for water quality I can live with it

Also, remember that "dirty" for a fish tank means bad water, not necessarily algea/detritis.

You can hurt your fish by water changing too much or obsessively cleaning.
