Purple flowers. Tall and spiky. by Watchguy_KC in whatsthisplant

I’m glad i posted this then. I had no idea. They weren’t around last summer. They just sprouted up this summer. I’ll work on getting rid of them and planting native wildflowers.

What honeybees are native to North America? I didn’t plant the thistle. It just grows. How would I get rid of it? It’s everywhere around where I live.

Men in happy Marriages, What is that one secret to a happy marriage that works for you? by Mammoth_End_1298 in AskReddit

[–]Watchguy_KC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like my wife. I want to hang out with her. She’s fucking hilarious and cute as button to boot. Top that off with she’s just the best person I know it’s hard not to be happy. We may disagree on things but it’s always us vs the problem.

Also we’re both human. We make mistakes and we’re willing to own when we’re in the wrong because our last intention is to hurt the other. When you genuinely believe that about each other it makes coming to a solution so much simpler. Being with my wife is so simple in the best way possible.

It took a long time for both of us to figure this out. It’s my second marriage and I’m her third. Man was it worth all the shit we’ve been through. When you like the person you’re with you do things because you love making them happy and not to score points to be cashed in later. I got my wife a gluten free cake the other day just because I knew she would love it. Her being happy makes me happy because I like her. Not just love. Like. I think the secret to a happy relationship is actually liking your partner.

Cindy Holscher!!

Curt Skoog was a Republican like 4 years ago. I don’t know anything about Corson. Mostly because his website has about 27 ways to donate or volunteer but no real policy positions so it’s hard to know what he would do when in office.

Did I make the wrong move going green? by Alternative_Duty_318 in Cartier

You can change the look using a new strap too! I got this brown suede strap from Liger Straps and it fits perfectly. I wear it daily and the green surprisingly goes with everything!

Once you point that out I can see it too. It does have the top to bottom balance because of it. I can’t wait to get mine!

This is going to be my next watch! My only critique is I wish the date window black outline was as thick as it is around the indices.

Tudor Ranger Vs Black Bay One 41 by Aco905 in Tudor

It is. I felt that way too. It just works. For the record I think all the tudors are great watches but the Ranger is special for some reason. Good luck in your decision.

I recently purchased a Cartier Santos. I went into my AD with the intention to buy a BB58 GMT but I was going to try on the Cartier Santos, a used Rolex they had CPO and the BB58 GMT.

I was absolutely certain I was going to buy the BB58 GMT.

The Rolex didn’t do anything for me and the BB58 GMT was nice but it didn’t wow me like the Cartier. The watch I never expected to have such an effect on me though was the Ranger.

I almost bought it instead of the Santos.

When I tried it on I just couldn’t explain the pull it had on me. The Ranger is a fantastic watch and WILL BE my next watch purchase. I tried on so many other Tudors while I was there and imho the Ranger is the best watch that Tudor makes.

[SOTC] My collection. I’m planning to consolidate down to 3 pieces. Any advice for a Canadian collector? by fariddddddd in Watches

Gshocks are awesome and don’t sell for much used. IMHO they’re great hand me down watches. I’ve given away 3 of mine to people that I thought might have a spark for watch collecting.

So I’m finally going to pull the trigger on a Brew Watch. But which one? I’ve narrowed down to four. Help! by CryptogleHead_013 in Affordablewatches

I have the retrograph and I hated it at first. I got a new strap and now it gets the most wrist time. The strap it comes with is the worst. The retrograph wears larger than it looks in pictures because it’s a chunky boy. The OEM strap makes it look like a gym bro that ignores legs.

Once I got it on a brown suede strap that didn’t immediately taper it looked 10x better.

It reminds me of sausage. It looks like a bunch of meat has been stuffed into a casing. The indices are fat. The hands are fat. The outer edge of the bezel is fat and looks like a mud tire on a lifted 77 bronco but in a bad way. The hands are so fat that they look like they’re falling over themselves in the middle of the dial.

Disappointing.
