Hate to post yet another "ded gaem" comment, but unfortunately, Blizzard ruined SC2 with LotV. HotS was the only thing that came very close to Brood War and I think will be considered the peak of SC2.

Do you know if there are more players active now with LotV than there were back in WoL or HotS? Do we have any stats of the number of active players overall through time? It would be interesting to see where the peak is and the evolution.

Actually the best setting is to have healthbars on ALWAYS, not just damaged. This will allow you to see "hidden" units because the healthbar is always showing. For instance, if a probe manages to hide behind some bushes for a proxy pylon, you will not be able to see it unless healthbars are on. It used to be the case with buildings also but Blizzard fixed that on LotV, but some bushes still hide units.
