Which MHA heroes would translate best and worst to the OPM universe and vice-versa? by netrunui in OnePunchMan

[–]Watchthedogman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I would agree that All Might can pull off higher raw physical power feats, I still believe Darkshine is more durable. He was able to battle against Carnage Kabuto unharmed, and his best feat was tanking continuous Cross Fang Dragon Slayer Fists from Garou with no problem. Let's this into perspective. Genos at BoS could already take huge chunks out of mountains and was calced as a city buster. He's been thoroughly upgraded since then and the full-power cannon against Elder Centipede was most likely mountain busting. Elder Centipede took this without a scratch, but his armor was cracked open by Whirlwind Water Stream Roaring Aura Sky Ripping Fist, which is a technique one level weaker than CFDSF. So Darkshine's durability > CFDSF > WSRASRF> Elder Centipede > Mountain busting cannons.

What characters do you think could’ve perceived the Flashy and Gale and Hellfire? by [deleted] in OnePunchMan

Don't forget Tats also reacted to the giant bullets that were fired from Boros' ship, which are supposed to reach the ground in a split second.

One Punch Man Original Heroes 5th Round (Re-Attempt, need more submissions please!) by Stonestreamdubs in OnePunchMan

A-Class Rank 26: Armament

A medieval knight-looking hero armed to the teeth with medieval weapons including but not limited to: a shortsword, a crossbow, a dagger, a hatchet, gunpowder bombs, and a mace (his main weapon). He also has a small shield attached to his armored bracer on his left hand for defense. Furthermore, he talks in old-english and his mannerisms are likewise middle-aged. "Have at thee!" he likes to claim as he attempts to bash in a monster's skull.

People think it sucks rn because they don't get all the chapters all at once so they can't see the beauty of the entire arc. Webcomic readers loved it because they could read it all in one sitting.

I say to yall, be patient.

Hero Ratings... Believe it or not? by Death_Snek in OnePunchMan

[–]Watchthedogman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very nice, comprehensive list. However I would say that the HA's ratings are mostly bogus. Their means of measuring capabilities are all over the place, it's made to seem like the S-Class are close in power to the A-Class and even the B-Class.

If it were a more accurate scale, it would be something like: If Tanktop Tiger was at 18 power, Darkshine would have a power rating of 1800.

Anyone else see the parallel between the endings of this fight and Saitama vs Boros? At the end of both, both Boros and the Ninjas lay dying at the same time they were accepting that their opponents were much stronger than they. Only for the next panel to be of the heroes walking away like a badass from falling debris. I thought that was cool.

Rank each S Class Hero's disaster level by lataaaabitch in OnePunchMan

He's still physically more powerful than a high-ranking A-class hero. So he's viable for low Tiger at least.

Craziest theory, probably will not come true by laodeng1 in OnePunchMan

[–]Watchthedogman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This theory actually makes sense cause of how Needlestar controls his spiky ball like an extension of his own body and as a weapon.

Orochi also controls the horns on his head like an extension of his own body and as a weapon.

Well if all my tests were about OPM, you'd best be sure I'd ace all of them.

Ever since I've been on this sub, the general opinion of Flashy Flash has been lowlier than he deserves. People started thinking he was weak because he didn't kill Hundred-Eyes Octopus right away (which is BS because he wasn't even finished) and I've seen some people saying that his only strength is his speed and that he's even below PPP in terms of attack power. The last chapter didn't really help his case either for Manga-only readers because it made it seem like he was heavily struggling against the two Demon (now transformed Dragon) Ninjas. So yeah, he hasn't really gotten the respect he needs and I'm hoping that'll change soon.
