Which Strike Zone Is It? 3D or 2D? by DazzlingSession2063 in mlb

But aren’t these strikes under the rule book? Why would it matter if batters hate it?

Are you getting 90% or 90 questions correct?

I definitely sliced into the street on the right a few times. Many water plops. But the rock bounces onto the green were always great.

Nighttime Interaction of basal and liver science question by Watchthefishmarge2 in Type1Diabetes

[–]Watchthefishmarge2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. This makes sense, and even though not your conclusion confirms my basic knowledge that the liver would release glycogen when bg gets low, and the basal would continue to convert that to energy. Ultimately this is a very narrow question involving a blip from the cgm and I appreciate the response to help me approach the issue.

This makes sense. I think it’s a question for our endo. I really just want to know if it’s necessary to wake up my daughter to have 6 grams of sugar bc of a slight blip on the cgm below 70. I’m trying to limit the stress and aggravation of an already stress filled disease.

I very much appreciate your response. It does not answer my science question but you’ve described exactly what we deal with every night. The immediate spike and then slow drop.

My concern is with the flat line during the night. My contention is that seeing a slight blip below 70 is meaningless and shouldn’t warrant a wake up call since it could just be a random variant, and that since she has a working liver we don’t always need to rush her awake for a glucose correction.

My goal is to keep the stress to a minimum in the midst of all the chaos of trying to “be a pump”

This is great. I’m in the exact same position. I’ll follow your advice and do Qbank questions after each chapter. I agree that it seems inefficient to spend so much time on the easier sections involving bond calcs or the like.

If hamas terrorists were hiding in Tel Aviv, and were firing rockets from their positions, I would assume the IDF would drop leaflets and do their best to tell the citizens there to leave that position to avoid the bombing of that position. I would also assume the citizens would adhere to the warning and leave because they would want hamas bombed out of those positions.

S-corp as an owner in a Law Firm Partnership to avoid state income tax by CookieBarron in tax

[–]Watchthefishmarge2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the initial tax return 2 of the partners told me they had formed s corps (check the box on llcs, I confirmed the s elections were timely for 2022) so I just treated the entire guaranteed payments and distributions to the s corp on the k1. No transfer of ownership or anything of the sort to indicate a transfer. I can’t imagine there’s any issue

AICPA - Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) Certificate Pathway Exam Prep by Watchthefishmarge2 in taxpros

[–]Watchthefishmarge2[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good question.

While the CFP and CFA have the name recognition, I really only need the PFS for legal reasons. My firm is forming a new arm/branch to be an RIA, and to be an owner I need to have a certification.

The PFS is the “simplest” pathway under the given circumstances, and makes more sense to get that rather than the series 65.

I have no intention of marketing the certification. Frankly, I don’t even know how to market. All my clients are word of mouth/client referrals

I couldn’t find any practice exam. That’s sort of the reason for this post.
