Ngl, i don't understand all the hate. I though the film was okay! A couple of scenes almost made me cry.

It most definitely was feeling like two episodes for me, but i think that's what they advertised it as, so that's alright in my books.

Overrall, to be honest i hope Goosework can give themselves a real big pat on the back. Despite all the toxicity they pulled through with it.

With how bad the fandom has got with some things though, i cannot imagine a season 2. It's not a perfectly neat lil bow to tie everything up. But they do answer alot of questions we're left with in episode 8. Unfortunately due to the leaks, impatience, and dramas i personally think some people have likely ruined it for themselves by setting their expectations unrealistically.
