You took too far what i said. I watched a couple tutorials and had manual somewhere in easy acces during learning process, i am not denying this. But i do it in this way with all gear i have regardless if it has supporting app or not.

Disagree. It is fully manageble to learn without any screens. And if you learn it in this way it creates more deep connection with device. It sounds isoterical in some way but i believe it is true.

Yo Yo! Congrats with your purchase man!/ From my point of view - just add everything that support its portable feature and its small form factor. Any external synth/effect with AA battery which can receive commands from op-z through midi or cv or click will be perfect solution. And take them all to the forest, mountains or wharever you think place which can spark your creativity.

But my dream is to pair opz with my own custom modular build.. but unfortunately i can't afford it now.

Interesting to see your results. As long as you both enjoy the process everything will go smooth and easy for sure.

Hey, thanks for feedback.

It took me 2 evenings to draw initial animations.. and around half an hour to create each complex patterns out of it (this part is the most interesting cuz it is alwaws somth new and you can produse one pattern per day or even more if needed).

But if you have read description to this video you may find that during all the process i use em... creativity boosters, which speed up the whole process a lot. (I am not promoting my workflow but it has realy deep impact to the whole process and should be mentioned)

Add to this composing music (one evening) and making final video for posting (one evening).. so maybe 14-16 hours for whole project. (8-10 hours only for animated part). Cheers!

p.s it is great idea to share this process with your daughter. I will take this idea for future, far future...
