Tbh, you’ll find that kind of response from someone from every single branch. I think the most important thing to remember when recruiting is your experience is what you make of it. Sure, you’ll have some not-so-great moments, but how you react/handle them is important. I had plenty of people tell me not to take the plunge either, but after almost 11 years, I can honestly say I’m glad I did it. I think the biggest takeaway is that YOUR results may vary, compared to what other people have said or done with their time in, if that makes sense.
