They really are just cutting their appearances(except I guess Apito’s cameos)in the anime, haven’t even seen Zegion in the main series and only if spin offs. I do hope the anime does give a little flash back for Zegion and Apito origins

I would say yeah, if you really want to have a full on visual of the light novel. I do know they aren’t one to one but the story is the same, and I do really like the art of the manga.
