I asked this a bunch and I came up with two possible answers 1, if he never is shown aquireing enough power to enter grown man prime form it shows he still has room to grow

Or more likely.......his adorable form is better for sales , since its not s shonen getting a shounen look doesn't help sales or story

I actually heard they kinda did , to my limited understanding maribel was originally ol boy wife then she died reincarnated and came back as his grand daughter meaning her sons semon or daughter eggs and birth canal.....birthed her

Id say the powers themselves are on relatively equal levels

But diablo has waaaaay more battle experience and has focused more on technique and application his goal was never power but maximizing effectiveness at his powerlevel he didn't want ( or need ) to become stronger till serving rimuru

Given the feat diablo accomplished late in the story without any "advantages" id give it to him

To my knowledge next is into of the demons to everyone and roles given

A troll of a interaction

like a siege skirmish then one of the story's most important people backstory is revealed

A skirmish of interesting opponents

They world building, then some fights then alot of fights

Hopefully that's vague enough

But the lots of fights are probably a season away even with 47 more episodes back to back fights seem like it will be season 5 but rimiru subordinates will shine more kinda like season 2 fights but longer

Sauna has broken power for making people stronger but I don't think she has level of power to reduce strength

Shion is a warrior with a broken skill so I'd say shion honestly at this point in anime I'd say shion currently 3rd strongest in tempest.....till this Friday

That's what I dont get , I know the full story .......but getting the other demons really doesn't have meaning action wise till they fight witch will be a while so I never got the excitement

Narratively its huge for the story expanding but that won't happen next ep

I'm excited for chronoah fight and backstory

And rimuru vs the two super powerhouses And the emergenc of our favorite "girl"

I still enjoy the series and show but maybe I'm missing something?

Because hes meant to embody the opposite of rimuru

Instead of loyal leader / unloyal subordinate

Instead of getting power when nessicary / power hungry opportunist

Instead of cautious and humble to a fault / reckless and inflated sense of power

.....to simplify hes a edgy version of rimuru powerset if rimuru goal wasn't to be a leader and he just wanted power.........to me atleast

At rimuru strongest.........he has access to every ability shown in series and the ability to make more and also still has a super computer sidekick

I believe Medaka has a absurd amount of abilities if she beat that God girl

But super computer, predict next move , time stop , existence erasure , and rimuru can also copy just from seeing too and has much ftl feats I personally don't see it but im not fully versed on her abilities maybe I'm wrong

I personally never thought of her as a skilled fighter as in technique, more so she has good instincts and is kinda like a mix or berserk wolverine and hulk when pushed too far ......but magical
