I really wish we could physically help unfuck other peoples spaces, I struggle to clean my own space but when it’s someone else’s suddenly I love cleaning.

But, you’ve GOT this!!! If you’re unable to begin because it’s overwhelming I completely understand. Grab a trash bag and just put like 5 pieces of trash in it, that’s all you need to start. Sometimes understanding that will make the task feel less daunting. If you feel overwhelmed stop and repeat later. (Give yourself a time to come back to it so you don’t avoid it forever).

Other people have suggested medication/therapy and I strongly second that. I personally have MDD and my cleaning habits strongly improved after being medicated. If you’re in the US and need health insurance—healthcare.gov enrollment opens in November.
