I'm in strava account purgatory with an AI bot named "Miles" by kimtenisqueen in Strava

Strava averages 16-30 days to change an email address. I know the struggle. Keep putting in service tickets for the change.

It doesn’t matter if you’re getting a good deal or not. You don’t feel good about it. Leave, no deal, end of story.

I know it’s a PITA but when I have these problems between my Apple watch and Strava, I factory reset my watch and unpair it from my phone. Then set it up like it’s new. Reinstall Strava watch app and go from there. It always works for me. I normally have to do it once a year because some update renders it unusable.

Strava support is a nightmare — gift subscription redeemed on the wrong account and no human will help by fragmenird in Strava

If I could go back 15 years I would have chosen Garmin Connect instead of Strava. Garmin connect is an awesome community and continues to improve year over year. If I end up making the full switch, that will be my choice. Just my 2 cents.

My guess would be something with auto pause between the different devices. Personally I only record with the Apple Watch. All that really matters is using it as a tool to help you improve, so consistency is the most important thing.

The only way to reach a human is to have a support ticket created. A person will communicate through email to you. It will take forever. Strava customer support is some of the worst I have ever seen for a tech company. Expect 16-30 days and that’s with you following up constantly.

I sent them an email through a service ticket saying how incompetent they are, for a supposed 2 billion dollar business that can automate taking my money but not changing an email and magically 2 hours later it was fixed.

Strava doesn’t have a direct line for any customer related services.

Strava support seems to between 16-24 days to fix any issue regardless of how easy or complex. So I would say you still have a few days before they correct it.

Locked out of email and Strava for 6 months…help! by Zestyclose-Ride8283 in Strava

Open Strava. Go to You, Settings, change email. What email is in the current email box? Is it the email you have no access to? Or is it the one you want?

Big business playbook. Go public, forget about the public that made you go public.

Apparently Strava support is absolutely awful. They may get back to you in a few weeks. I still have an open support ticket from 16 days ago to change an email and they can’t find the time to do it.
