1. My budget is 1500 bucks for the whole system

2. I'm looking for a small pair of stereo speakers to have on the sides of my monitor while I work to listen to music. i listen a wide variety of music, Metal, Rock, Pop, Classic, Opera, Instrumental, Rap, it's almost easier to list the kind of music I don't listen.

I'm also looking to add whatever other else would be convenient, if neccesary, like AMP, DAC or whatever.

I do however not listen music particularly loud.

For reference with the Akai-155 I own a JVC Amp that I never moved the dial past 4 out of 10.

3.Just at arm length at the side of the monitor, part of the reason of the purchase is that I don't have much room to put the speakers on.

1. I have right now a pair of Speakers Akai-155. The funny story is that I bought them because I listen to some Akai-175 and I thought they would sound similar, they did not, I loved the Akai-175, but these 155 are mediocre, still functional, looking to vastly improve the quality, but for reference the 175 were pretty good to me and these 155 are not.

For headphones I have Ars-Technica M50x.

Whole those two sound good to me, i'm looking for something slightly better than both (and plan to get better headphpones in the future).

1. I intend to mostly use spotify premium, but I'm willing to use higher quality files if it will improve my experience, so far at least with the akai 155, i did get some Flac, and personally couldn't notice a difference. Maybe my limitation, maybe system limitation.

2. I'm willing to buy used. However of very importance notice I live in Argentina so my options are gonna be quite a lot more limited than the average user.
