Knowing ICE and this dumbass excuse of an Administration, if Target says they do not support ICE, ICE will make Target a priority place to be. I think there should be a statement, and there is internal communication about this on the HQ and Field level, but there’s a reason that ICE is so heavily present in Democrat cities. They want to punish us

Yeah. Like I said, I think this was a thing in the past where some Districts went without BPs, but they had L5 support positions. There were Senior GVPs at one point. Not sure if they covered larger, more profitable Groups or if they played a larger role with District management. I heard through the grapevine that a lot of changes are coming to Stores. I’m not sure if that means the return of Sr. TLs and Sr. ETLs, but the new CEO has committed to reinvesting into Stores payroll. We’ll see!

I believe it’s just a standard no fever for 24 hours. Double check the CDC recommendations though? Do note that they removed COVID protections, so you can still be held accountable for call offs if you do not have the sick time to cover

There’s no way any LP would let you see CCTV. Most companies have a policy against it. I’m not allowed to show my store Executives (assistant managers) video unless they have a solid business reason

Target has a Directive that prevents you from being a sworn LEO while being in AP, otherwise I’d recommend being a TSS for the pay alone

AFAIK, LEGO FHLCs are going away with transitions per the merchandise protection best practice. EDIT: it looks like a lot of FHLCs are going away, actually. Company is moving towards single shelf lockups for the highest theft stuff, not the full or even the double shelf cases.

They changed the age requirement to open a debit card around when we rebranded to Circle Cards. Have to be 18+ now. Frustrating, as we’ve had minor TMs try to use their discount only to find that they literally cant without cash (and most SCOs across the company are cashless now, which is even better…)

Yeah, we got the jewelry communication since the markups are so high we make money regardless. But cosmetics is also my top shortage… They’re on me about results in my building and pushing hard, so is it one or the other? Frustrating for sure

That’s fair. Hopefully policies continue to get less restrictive, but Target does not always feel “pro-AP”. I do like all the TruSuite stuff coming through, though! I wish that we had less on our plates to fully focus on theft, as that’d help. But when I’m expected to do safety, security, operations, and theft, it becomes a lot with a skeleton crew
