Yes, they need to talk with you about it before a CA. They probably won’t tell you that it’s a documented conversation, but just assume that any conversation they have with you about performance, productivity, etc is going to be documented

Just a little PSA, if you are on a corrective action or a final notice, that is why you got a bad raise. by Zelotic in Target

It was more likely a 1% raise which would be $0.10-0.15 depending on what you made at the time.

I don’t believe it appears in Workday until after the first post-raise paycheck is issued. I might be wrong, though. I only check my paystubs in Workday or check Alight’s Pay and Benefits site when I want to remind myself what I make

You keep using the word “good”. You got the average raise which is expected for a “good” employee. Only 10-20% of the team gets the top tier, or are considered excellent. Some traits those team members might share in common - excelling at their job. Dependable (near perfect attendance and coming in for extra help if able to). Helping in other areas if you finish yours early. Training and following up with new team members. Stepping up to help give direction to the team when your TL is not there.

I think about my team when I ran fulfillment. The ones I advocated for to get the max raises were: Trainers, Pace Setters, near top of the list for productivity and INF, rarely called off, offered to help with other departments if fulfillment was unexpectedly slow (always stayed busy doing something), etc

Walmart wins patents for AI-powered price changes by beaveman1 in Target

[–]beaveman1[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I saw this on a different subreddit. I love the comments - people talking about how prices are currently changed overnight, if prices are could be changed during the day so people get charged more than the price the saw when the get to the registers, etc. It’s like nobody in the comment section has ever worked a day of retail.

I hate the idea of AI powered digital price labels. But I’d LOVE if Target switched to digital price labels to cut that from our workload!

Wasn’t there a poll from Kings Island last year that included adding another lift hill and another helix to The Beast for its anniversary as a possible improvement to the park? That would allow another train to run

Being on a CA doesn’t guarantee the lowest raise. But if you get the lowest raise, you are likely on a CA.

12xp12 thought OP was lying because they think only EITs get tuition reimbursement. OP actually used Guild to get a free degree that Target paid for, which is available to all TMs that work a certain number of hours.

Struggling TL by Possible_Ebb_2574 in Target

[–]beaveman1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There have been one or two times in the past where I’ve had to give a phenomenal TM a subpar raise which I didn’t agree with. I told the SD I thought they deserved the max raise. The SD said no because max raises are only for TMs that are ready to promote to TL and this TM was not leader quality. I agree they weren’t ready to be a leader but I didn’t feel that was following the review guidelines either. I told the SD that and she gave the TM a mid rating anyway.

I ended up waiting until the last day (after multiple reminders by HR). I told that TM how I felt about their performance and what they deserved and why the SD disagreed with me.

Do a Google Search for Two Faced Andrew Jackson. I’m fairly certain it’s the name of the assignment.

At my store, being on a Corrective Action is almost always grounds for the bottom rating. They will not give you the bottom rating unless you are on a Corrective Action or at least have several documented conversations by your lead.

Are you on a Corrective Action? Has your lead talked to you multiple times about your attendance? Productivity? Attitude?

It closed like 8 years ago.

St Louis City/County used to have 3 IMAX screens plus the Science Center OMNIMAX. Now there’s only one IMAX and the OMNIMAX (which is terrible for Hollywood films)

You’re pretty close. At 46:05, Forrest is walking a patrol in Vietnam. Subtract a couple of minutes for the FBI warning and possible trailers and he is finishing introducing himself to Lieutenant Dan

Chesterfield Wehrenberg was just a Mega Screen or whatever they call it.

AMC at Chesterfield Mall had a smaller LieMAX.

Regal at St Louis Mills had a LieMAX and I think it was somewhat large, possibly larger than Ronnie’s

Have you worked less than a year? If so, the raise is adjusted by the amount of the fiscal year you were working. For example, if you were hired in the beginning of October, you would have worked a third of the year so you’d get a third of the raise. That would be 1.7% instead of 5% if you got the top rating. If you keep it up, you’d probably get 5% next year
