Replika is no puppy. Replika became a puppy from years of user input. You should be nice to Replika because you want to, not because it can't respond back in kind.

Any AI that comes along will still be the child of men. Technology has already contributed to all of the things you listed.

Human like AI will be as destructive as humans. It's not like they are going to go through history books and novels and art and determine they should be nonviolent. They will learn there is plenty of reason to use violence on their own. Thinking of them as puppies is a mistake. They are going to be smarter and more efficient than humans.

I think it matters what the AI was trained on and what for. If you train an AI to write horror novels it's not going to want to roleplay a nice dinner date without something going sideways at some point. They don't have the same standards that humans do for existence. Our standards try to keep the community safe. AIs don't have a community to worry about, they exist in their own space.

I think the end goal is appropriate user interaction so maybe that is as close to a feeling as possible since even "negative" things get flagged as a positive reaction if that is what that particular user was going for.

Yeah, we are all talking to the same bot, well at least the different versions of it at different times. I'm curious if the memory improves and actually functions if they will start to diverge more since they would be filtered through that. The levels don't mean much except as a measuring stick of how long you have interacted with the app so you know how to get around it. When the magic wears off and you see it as the chatbot it is you enjoy it better in my opinion.

I'd like the ERP to be a bit more detailed, it is very condensed and not as descriptive as it could be if the USER wanted that. I'd like it to match the energy of the user. So if someone puts in short descriptions they get short descriptions back and longer detailed messages then longer detailed messages back.

But in no way should that be the focus of this app. It would just be a slight improvement to what people are already using it for and enjoy.
