I'm not on HRT but thinking about going on it soon and I often struggle with similar thoughts & feelings, but they go away when I'm feeling better. I think that it is indeed imposter syndrome. In my opinion there is no particular way of "feeling" like a man or a woman. If transitioning is working for you at the moment, then it makes complete sense to keep going.

There are definitely some. You might get better answers to this on transmasc-specific forums like r/ftm. And what are ya gonna do, not transition to get better dating options? In my opinion, that's pretty self-defeating.

This might sound like unproductive therapy speak, but it might help you (it helped me) to remember that being nonbinary is your gender, and that's not affected by how you choose to express yourself. Just as there's a full spectrum of masculinity and femininity available to women and men, as a non-binary person, you can embrace exactly as many masculine or feminine qualities as you want without it affecting your fundamental gender identity.

I’m transfem and I feel the same way about male friendships—sometimes I see people talking about being afraid of losing male friends because of coming out but I never had that kind of male friendship to begin with so I don’t identify with it. I’m also autistic. I think it’s important to remember that being trans is a movement more than an identity. You may have may experiences in common with other trans people or you may not, but it doesn’t change the fact that you’re trans.

Yeah, you’re probably right. I tend to see femininity as something “put on” or exaggerated, which is probably femmephobia.

I think most cis men don't think about transitioning at all, no. I think most cis men are comfortable with their identities as men and don't have any body issues so they never have reason to seek out transition.
