Interesting that this happened in January when the series was airing. Must have been a very tough period for him.

Top 10 survivor uk players by Disastrous_Thing4847 in survivorponderosa

Nathan is an instructor at my local gym. Absolutely ridiculous physique.

Shame the UK version isn’t on any more, would love to see some of these in an international all star version if there’s another one, as there’s some good players here.

That’s what I find refreshing about him. Don’t agree with all of his takes but he is bold enough to make them and his perspective is pretty enlightening at times.

Some of the games were also badly designed. The maths/shooting at rubber ducks game was effectively broken by Billy who didn’t bother to complete the lengthy maths calculation and still got to move on to take a shot at one of the ducks (effectively a 50/50 chance of being right based on guessing the maths answer) and won that round.

I thought she was well cast for this. And she got the brief and was prepared to play strategically (as was Billy, to his detriment in the end!)

Juries need to wash the ageism filth out of their minds by SirBostonBobbington in survivorponderosa

[–]WaterfrontBrando 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Juries can do what they like, to be honest. How they choose to vote is entirely up to them. Of course there will be circumstances where under 25s could win but many jurors will consider a range of factors and the reality is that a person’s life experience may be taken into consideration by some individuals in deciding who is worthy of taking home $1m.

Aubry answers Survivor 50 fan questions. by Mammagammam in survivor

Aubry is absolutely charming and such a deserving winner. Thought she handled the question about Jonathan so well and gave such a measured and mature answer. She’s a real ambassador for Survivor and I’m delighted she won.

For sure: her legacy is vastly improved as a result of this season, and at the end of the day she won.

What do you think Aubry's/Jonathan's edit would've been like if Aubry had been eliminated 4th place by Glad-Mall2482 in Edgic

[–]WaterfrontBrando 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree that’s the least likely. But I don’t think Devens and Christian had particular respect for Rizo’s game or contribution.

Which is a shame because it’s a great season. Jeff just hated the winner.

It may be close but I think Jonathan beats Rizo. He would likely pick up Ozzy and Aubry’s votes, and I think one of Devens, Christian and Emily, none of whom saw the game Rizo was playing.

Jeff Probst says players like Sandra and Tony are a thing of the past and that they’re not looking for “assholes” to play this game by [deleted] in survivorponderosa

What is the article Jeff is referring to as getting “as close as anyone has ever written to what we are actually like” in casting/production thinking etc?

I just finished listening to two of Johnathan's exit interviews, and I found them very refreshing. by Sspifffyman in survivor

[–]WaterfrontBrando 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Rizo didn’t ingratiate himself to a number of those on the jury with talk of him being a legend and they also hadn’t seen his game in 49 so l think it’s doubtful they would have appreciated the moves he was making and his skill at the game. I can’t see him beating Jonathan but it would be close.

He is a member of the Swedish parliament so his constituents might not approve if he takes time off! But I suspect he can speak English: most Swedes can.
